Santa's gift on Top 50 Christmas Songs of All Time 🎅 Merry Christmas 2024 🎄 The Best Christmas Music Playlist Producer David Blake and label owner Bob Callili have been incredibly helpful in getting their master tapes of soul artists to us. FLYING OVER CANADA (4K UHD) – Soothing Music With Stunning Beautiful Nature Film – Video 4K Ultra HDAlec also managed to find the master tape of Troy Dodds masterpiece ‘Try My Love’ from the tiny El Camino label which was part-owned by Wilt “The Stilt” Chamberlain, a famous basketball player of the day. Melvin Davis recalled how the owner of the similarly small and unsuccessful KeKe label’s dad owned a “coupl’a steel mills”. Producer Dave Hamilton managed to employ an accomplished brass section for the date and the sax solo is so skilful that I’m thinking “maybe Sonny Stitt?” Bethany Fish on Top 50 Christmas Songs of All Time 🎅 Merry Christmas 2024 🎄 The Best Christmas Music Playlist

Holy Night on Top 50 Christmas Songs of All Time 🎅 Merry Christmas 2024 🎄 The Best Christmas Music Playlist A new volume in this series is eagerly anticipated and always “on the go”. Northern Soul is a sufficiently broad field to make various styles of records potential contenders. The R&B and modern ends of the spectrum tend to get covered on our “New Breed” or “Masterpieces” compilations, but if the sound has made it onto mainstream Northern dancefloors, it wins its place on “Northern Soul’s Classiest Rarities”. For instance he also found the original master tape to Ty Karim’s super-rarity You Just Don’t Know that Ty’s husband Kent Harris had lovingly looked after while awaiting a proper deal for the licensing of his superb Romark label. So now listen to the clarity of that cascading piano, crisp cymbal work, haunting organ and Ty’s fabulous, rich, deep brown vocals on a song that epitomises all that’s good about mid-60s, soul-soaring music. Kent Records latest release Northern Soul's Classiest Rarities Volume 7 Cd is out today, The seventh in this long running series hits the streets running, with a right old varied mix of styles rarities and classics. The general equation runs something like this: rare, in Northern Soul parlance, is generally qualified by the number of known copies of each 45 being in single figures. Ergo, demand far outstrips supply and the ensuing clamour between the cognoscenti of hardcore collectors & DJs usually creates a price far beyond the means of mere mortals! The Flodavieur label is one of the west coast’s rarest imprints and we’re proud to present its two most collectable items. The sheer brilliance of the better known Antellects ‘Love Slave’ as atmospheric a soul dancer as was ever cut and deserving of its thousands of pounds price tag; nobody quibbles with that. The lesser-known Inconquerables single should have been dubbed as by the Unobtainables so few are its sightings.
