About this deal

The Nike Air Zoom Structure 22 running shoes are a top-quality pair of shoes, particularly for people with flat feet or plantar fasciitis. It's crucial to have a stable pair of running shoes with proper arch support to prevent over-pronation. They possess Dynamic Fit technology, Flywire cables in the laces, and Deep Flex grooves for a solid balance of flexibility and tractions. These shoes are built with both comfort and effective running in mind, so you can wear them confidently and without worry. Those who find themselves afflicted with plantar fasciitis, flat feet, or other foot problems may cringe at the concept of running. The issues are one of the most frequent causes of pain in the heels of adults, and is particularly common amongst runners. In the running shoe world, it’s very rare that an update undergoes such a big change that it is unrecognisable. The only other example I can think of is the Nike Vomero 14. Those models run anywhere from 110 to 130, while the Zoom Structure are right in the middle with a price tag of 120. The Structure 23 is the Structure series reimagined and I really like the direction that Nike has gone with it.

The treatment of plantar fasciitis often involves regular stretching. But, one of the simplest ways to ease the associated pain is to wear shoes that will support the arch and heel properly. The next three versions toned down the medial post, making them more comfortable and this broadened the target market. The firm ride still remained. The Structure 19 and the Structures before the 19 had prominent medial posts and a “poking in the arch” sensation which made it unbearable for many neutral runners and even some overpronators to wear. Responsiveness is good in the forefoot because of the Zoom Air unit but is less responsive in the soft heel. There is a shallow cavity under the heel which adds a bit more responsiveness. When I slipped them on for the first time I was surprised by how firm they felt. The upper – recently updated on this model – felt plush with plenty of room for my foot to move. Is your closet getting a little crowded with all those specialty shoes you’ve been collecting? It’s true, right?

Another change they made to the upper the location of the laces. They moved them up farther up the shoe. The was done in hopes to allow the forefoot to spread out in a natural way while you run. It has only been launched in a very small number of markets in Asia and Nike has chosen to not name the foam that its midsole is made of or give its standard size weight. You get thin reflective strips on both sides of the heel and a single strip on the medial side of the toe box for night-time visibility. The Zoom Air bag in the forefoot of the Structure 23 is similar to the setup in the Pegasus 33/34 where you could feel the air bag through the strobel lining and the insole. On the midfoot, the light green “Cucumber” coloured material can be seen through the large perforations.Partial bootie wraps the foot for a snug, comfortable fit. Notches at the tongue provide easy on and off. The Structure 24 is the same price as the Pegasus 38 but is more comfortable and more stable so I’d choose the Structure over the Pegasus even though it’s the heavier shoe. This is no more of a stability shoe than the Pegasus, or the Vomero is. The only thing that it shares in common with previous Structures is the name. The Nike Zoom Structure overall is a very solid running shoe, and is a great running shoe option for those suffering from plantar fasciitis. With its ample heel and arch support as well, the Zoom Structure was also our selection for the best running shoes for flat feet in the guide we did for runners facing that ailment.
