When originally seeing the advertising, I wasn't 100% sure how well something like this could be executed, seeing how the previous attempt with BOOMco's MA5 had to greatly compromise the design to make it functional, resulting more of an oddball approximation rather than a proper recreation.

Happily the MA40 is no such slouch, with a sturdy weight that feels well balanced without being cumbersome, enough overall length to comfortably fit against the shoulder, and a raised cheek-rest for aiming (or rather "eyeballing" since it has no sights) resulting in a rather pleasant to use dart gun. Customers have been impressed with the looks of this nerf gun, whether they’re Halo fans are not, and particularly love the power and performance of the Nerf Halo MA40 dart blaster. The flexible needles light up when you grip the handle! Additional accent areas also light up on the blaster. Requires 6x AA 1.5v alkaline batteries (not included) Soak and get soaked, it's time for the Nerf Super Soakerto shine! With their pressurised water tanks you're sure to drench the competition out on the field or get a great headshot at the pool. Nerf Fortnite As a prop, the MA-40 pretty much nails it, as much as a Nerf gun can. It's satisfyingly bulky for me (5'10 and not slender), it has the profile I remember from my days playing HALO on my original Xbox, but somewhat modernized and chunkier- probably redesigned for the new game and new console generation. The color scheme is a little flashy, but what do you expect- it's a Nerf.
