About this deal

Most guests are more than happy to have a selfie taken with you at their table, this is ENTIRELY at the discretion of the guest as is the price and we do ask that you respect their choices in this matter.

Sometimes guests may arrive late or early due to travel requirements so please be aware of this when making your plans as we cannot guarantee they will be available all day, most guests will leave the building at 5.30pm, however in some instances they will be available later than this, for example if they are particularly busy with fan autographs.I don’t want to spoil too much but democracy plays a big part of this rework, as do physical and mental challenges. Also there’s a game where we try to guess which one of three liquids is milk. Provided the opportunity is not sold out then yes, you can pay by cash or card at the tables or at the photoshoot queue entrance.

I should clarify: the positives are that I have done some brilliant shows with Weirdos Comedy Collective, I’ve taken to streaming which has witnessed the unintentional development of myself as a professional Terry Wogan impersonator and in addition to having a couple of other projects in development I’ve also been producing some theatre. MONOPOLY, the great property trading board game, finds its home in the historical city of Edinburgh. Journey around the gameboard and explore landmarks including: Arthur’s Seat, the Royal Mile and Scott Monument. Take in a game at Murrayfield or relax at the Edinburgh St James or Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh- The Caledonian. Explore the Museum of Edinburgh, Museum of Childhood and the Edinburgh Zoo, swing by the Fringe and celebrate the world’s largest art festival, before finishing at the iconic Edinburgh Castle. Suitable Age: 8+ Not suitable for children under the age of 8 years due to small parts which could cause a choking hazard If the guest queue is not too long then yes, of course, you can spend a few minutes chatting to the guests, however, please be advised that if they are busy, then other people will also be waiting to meet the guest and you may be asked to move along politely after a few moments. The world’s favorite family board game brings you another exciting edition of MONOPOLY – Edinburgh!Benjamin: I’ve made no pre-bookings and decide what to go to based on looking through the programme on the train up and then from word of mouth. I would strongly advise the best way when putting together a list is to go from gut feeling and to see things that are weird and different; that you couldn’t see somewhere else. Benjamin: Hi. You’re not going to believe this, but there has been absolutely no change to my situation, positive or negative, over the last three years. That’s not to say that bad things or good things haven’t happened, just that they have happened in so perfectly equal a measure as to be net zero. Whilst the majority of guests are open to this we cannot guarantee that they will accept all gifts over the course of the weekend due to a variety of reasons including luggage restrictions. Please gracefully accept the guest's decision in this matter.

Benjamin: The first step is figuring out how to improve every aspect of the game. This is also the last step. Take a moment, reader, to think about all the problems you have with Monopoly. Well, we add mechanics to fix all those problems totally and utterly.

But this is all balanced out by a single game of Monopoly I played against my family on the 8th June 2020. Branching off from For the Love of Sci-Fi we have also made UK Comic Cons another one of our major brands, hosting the cities official Comic Cons in Liverpool, Edinburgh and now we are also hosting the flagship Comic Con for Manchester as well as brand new events in Northern Ireland, Wales and Aberdeen with even more territories to be announced. Headline names we have booked include many first-time UK and European exclusives including and to name a few, WWE legend Mark Calaway “The Undertaker”, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Christopher Lloyd, Millie Bobby Brown, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley, Alicia Silverstone, David Harbour, Elijah Wood, and many more. Jake: So this year you’re bringing your show, Absolute Monopoly, to the Fringe – why do you think Monopoly ruins so many relationships and have you had a lot of fun playing around with that idea?

Advance to Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, or the Scott Monument - will you owe rent or reap the rewards? We are all fans too and we get that you may get excited at the prospect of meeting a huge personal hero and it's only natural to want to give them a hug of gratitude, but again, this is entirely up to the guest in question, we simply ask that if they say no, that you respect their personal and private space and decision.PLEASE NOTE: Every effort is made to ensure that schedules are correct at the time of print/display but these are always subject to last-minute changes.
