For starters, I will say that I love the weight and size of the mouse. My hands arent abnormally large or small. I'd say they are about average (pinky to thumb spread length ~8.5 in). My previous wireless mouse was much smaller and less comfortable to hold, so going to a bigger size was really nice. For those who had a BIGGER previous mouse, going to this mouse that is smaller might be something you dont like. Make sure you know what the dimensions are before buying. The weight of this mouse makes it feel premium, but isnt something that you have to "lug" around. The Logitech MX Verticalis an excellent choice if you're interested in a vertical mouse. It's thoughtfully designed and naturally helps alleviate wrist strain during the workday.
The Logitech G305 Lightspeedis the best affordable wireless gaming mouse. It's a smaller, no-frills device, but it offers great performance at a more manageable price. With an Intel Core i5-8500T (Coffee Lake) CPU and 8GB of RAM, this review unit was able to cut through daily productivity tasks like word processing, heavy web browsing, and video streaming with ease. I ran some synthetic benchmarks to give an idea of where the performance sits compared to a bunch of laptop's we recently reviewed. CPU We treated shape and comfort as the most important aspect of any mouse we tested, with slightly more weight for performance and latency in gaming mice. Obviously, fit is a highly subjective metric, since everyone’s hands are different. I have slightly large hands and tend to use a claw grip, for one. But I had a second tester with small hands give their impressions of each mouse we called in, and we kept additional hand sizes in mind.

Logitech says the battery can last up to 24 months. The underside power button will help preserve battery life, as will the mouse's ability to automatically enter sleep mode if it detects it's not in use. To use the mouse, you can plug in the Unifying receiver and be up and running. Or, you can pair it with a host via Bluetooth. To do the latter, just tap and hold the third button on the mouse to initiate the Bluetooth pairing process. Battery life: I've had this for well over a month now, and I turn it off at the end of every day. Obviously it claims much longer battery life, but so far I've had no issues. I also prefer mice that run on AA batteries rather than plug in ones, so that I can change it out. When the plug-in-to-charge mice finally die....theyre dead for good. A simple battery switch with this is a lot more appealing to me. I will update in time if anything changes regarding battery life.
At the bottom of the mouse sit the power slider and the battery compartment. The battery compartment is both secure and easy to remove by sliding your finger down it. Inside the compartment sits a AA battery and a slot that holds Logitech's included Unifying wireless USB receiver (the same kind used by the K780 keyboard). The mouse can transmit up to 10 meters to the Unifying receiver or via Bluetooth 4.0. Over the Unifying receiver, the 2.4GHz mouse is compatible with Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, and Linux-based computers, as well as with (as mentioned) Android 5.0 or later. Even Windows RT is supported. The best mouse for most people is the Logitech MX Master 3. It’s not cheap, but its design and versatility are befitting of a high-end accessory. It’s supremely comfortable, first and foremost, with an ample thumb rest, a gentle slope for your middle three fingers, and a slight flare-out for the pinky. There’s a significant hump at the mouse’s base, but holding it, the design feels like it was sculpted with a hand fitted around it. It works excellently for both palm and claw grips, and while it’s relatively weighty, the heft adds to its premium feel. So does its finish, which is plastic, but hard, textured, and grippy.

CROSS-COMPUTER CONTROL - Game-changing capacity to navigate seamlessly on three computers, and copy-paste text, images, and files from one to the other using Logitech FLOW Razer’s Synapse software is another suite that isn’t exactly known for its robustness, but we didn’t encounter any major issues in testing, and the app itself makes it relatively easy to adjust RGB patterns, CPI presets, polling rate, and the like. The version the Viper Ultimate uses is only supported on Windows, unfortunately, though it’s not like macOS is much of a gaming platform to begin with. The mouse itself can store up to five settings profiles on its own internal memory. Despite the curve being more pronounced than on the Logitech M330 Silent Plus , we found it worked well for our fingers to splay over the buttons. In fact, we liked how long and smooth the button mechanism was: We could push with the whole length of our finger, which in turn took stress off our joints.

LONG BATTERY LIFE- The Logitech M720 just keeps going, with 2 years of power on a single AA battery The Logitech Options software lets you change configurations and program buttons. You can swap the left and right buttons, change the pointer speed, and adjust the scroll-wheel direction. Adjusting the scroll-wheel speed didn't dispel our sense that the "hyper-fast" wheel was a shade too slippery. However, we did feel that the left and right tilt/toggle action of the scroll wheel was just right, with no resistance. Following the update to Test Bench 1.2, some of our test results have changed within both the Weight and CPI sections. We've added or modified some of the text in this article to clarify these changes.
That latter toggle-and-connect button is the one that switches the mouse's connection among the three possible connected devices.
