About this deal

To this day, great-grandfather John’s thirst for original flavour lives on in the Whitley name, of which both are now brands under London-based Halewood Artisanal Spirits Plc*. J.J Whitley started creating Vodka in 2017 at its distillery in St Petersburg on the Baltic Sea. Using the winter wheat combined with naturally soft water from its own 160 metre deep artesian wells, the spirit undergoes four stages of filtration to achieve the optimal balance for distilling in its snowy surroundings … This bottle of gin is not meant for the faint of heart. This is not just because it’s a strong drink, but the bottle itself is actually quite startling. The bottle has the model of a devil’s head, which is the main theme of the brand Fallen Angel. The palate is also bright. When Whitley Neill Blood Orange Gin they seriously mean this a Blood Orange Gin. Whitley Neill Blood Orange Gin hits it out of the park. The audience is the flavored-vodka crowd, for sure. But hardcore gin drinkers will appreciate how they pull it off without forgetting the juniper.

The new liquid will complement the brand’s existing range of spirits, which includes four gins: J Whitley Elderflower Gin, Nettle Gin, London Dry Gin and Violet Gin, and two vodkas: JJ Whitley Rhubarb Vodka and Potato Vodka. Didsbury’s range of gin consists of a few different fruity flavored gins like Raspberry & Elderflower, Strawberry & Sicilian Lemon, Tutti Frutti (which literally means all of the fruits), and a gin that tastes like a much-loved dessert in Manchester: Manchester Tart. A lot of you seem to be coming here because you’re asking the question “Is gin gluten free?”– well, according to Coeliac UK, the answer is “Yes!”. The advice from the organisation states that “Even when a cereal that contains gluten is used as an ingredient, all spirits are distilled during the manufacturing process and this process removes any trace of gluten. Therefore, all spirit drinks (including malt whisky which is made from barley) are safe for people with coeliac disease.” This gin is infused with very fragrant botanicals which create a wonderful and complex flavor. 11. Didsbury Blood Orange & Ginger Gin Even though the name doesn’t exactly sound like it, blood orange gins are definitely a good example of those easy-to-drink gins. They tend to be a lot sweeter, just like the blood orange itself is, and they contain even more citrus notes than other gins do.

Cocktails

According to Barnivore.com this gin is vegan friendly, with Tanqueray advising that no animal-derived ingredients are used in the gin. Just a sip of Mrs Cuthbert’s Cherry Bakewell Gin Liqueur is enough to taste the intense biscuit cherry and vanilla flavour tones, perfectly encapsulating this delightful family favourite.

That’s good enough for me, and never having suffered any gluten related side effects, G&T continues to be my tipple of choice. Just The Tonic Opinions are quite divided among gin drinkers when it comes to the overall popularity of cake-flavoured teatime treats, but it’s safe to say that they are here to stay, with more and more appearing on the market on a regular basis. The Steampunk Explorer range of flavoured gins is quite unique because it has been distilled specifically for B&M. Three different flavours have been brought to us by Steampunk Spirits, but their Steampunk Explorer Blood Orange Gin is one of our personal favourites.Mrs Cuthbert’s British Gin Liqueurs are dessert flavoured gin liqueur specialists, with their gins being hand-crafted to resonate family recipes that have been passed down over several decades. Their introduction of famous classic cake recipes into the world of gin is certain to please any gin drinker with a sweet tooth. It depends on personal preferences which of these gins you should buy. If you’re going for aesthetics, then something like the Malfy Gin Con Arancia is great because of its vibrant colors, but also the Fallen Angel Blood Orange Gin is a good option due to its flashy and kind of creepy bottle. The J.J. Whitley Blood Orange Gin might not be just as flashy as the bottle from Fallen Angel, but this bottle is also really nice looking. The bottle has some fancy floral embossing on it. This combined with the vivid orange color from the gin looks amazing. As a result, we saw an opportunity to add another dimension to JJ Whitley’s portfolio just in time for the start of summer and warmer weather. Sometimes you’ve just got to play designated driver for the night, or perhaps you’re planning on doing dry January? In that case, you need to have a bottle of Seedlip in your cupboard! Seedlip is a distilled non-alcoholic spirit, which also happens to be zero calories, sugar free and sweetner free. Plus of course Seedlip is gluten free, vegan, kosher and suitable for those that are lactose intolerant and diabetic.

The prices of these bottles are a bit high compared to other spirits, but with Fallen Angel, you not only get a very nice drink, but you can also use the bottle in which it comes as a decoration if you like. Whitley Neill Blood Orange Gin is ready made for pairing with classic, quinine-heavy tonic waters. The Gin and Tonic is the #1 drink IMHO with this. The fresh citrus makes it remarkably accessible, especially to people who are just getting into gin.Classically heavy on juniper, smooth and with plenty of citrus peels to balance the peppery juniper. Good in a martini, great in a G&T! You will be able to taste lemon, fresh basil, orange, vanilla and finally herbaceous spices. Beefeater has been a staple in the gin industry since the opening of the first distillery in 1863. Beefeater’s gins are really popular and for good reason! Their London Dry gin is considered one of the best London dry gins out there by some people. All their bottles have the same scary devil model, the only difference being the color of the bottle. Aside from the blood orange gin, Fallen Angel also makes spiced rum, British vodka, and two different liqueurs. Fox’s Kiln Distillery is fairly new in the gin industry. The creator of the gin brand, Jared Brown, started a microbrewery out of boredom in 2011, and later in 2019, he started distilling gin.
