Composer Peter Lawlor, whose atmospheric Ice Night was used by Orange, won the prize for a specially commissioned work. I like the song off the Hyndai ad - But my favourite is Royksopp's So Easy from the T-Mobile ad, that advert got me into their music and I'm grateful.

I hate that song so badly that every time it came on, I turned the volume down. That song is the worst piece of music I've ever heard and that's including the rubbish played on the radio these days! There were other, much better songs out there that would have better illustrated the awards' point than that annoying song.

For my money, the best ad music ever written is the 1970s R White's lemonade music, sung by the guy who was allegedly Elvis Costello's dad. Someone out there needs to cover this classic piece of glam-stomping product placement! I liked the way Squirrel approached Bear on this matter and the look that Bear gave his friend, it made me smile. Squirrel thinks he’ll be happier without Bear and he is, for just a short while and then, he isn’t. But what can Squirrel do now?
