About this deal

Composer Peter Lawlor, whose atmospheric Ice Night was used by Orange, won the prize for a specially commissioned work. I like the song off the Hyndai ad - But my favourite is Royksopp's So Easy from the T-Mobile ad, that advert got me into their music and I'm grateful.

The single's B-side, "Ever Lovin' Fingers", reached #63 on the US pop chart. [3] Other versions [ edit ] I don't believe that horrid song won anything. I hate that song so badly that every time it came on, I turned the volume down. That song is the worst piece of music I've ever heard and that's including the rubbish played on the radio these days! There were other, much better songs out there that would have better illustrated the awards' point than that annoying song.

VU is a 1985 album by the American musical group the Velvet Underground, a compilation album of outtakes recorded 1968-69. It was released in February 1985 by Verve Records.

This adorable rhyming book about the ups and downs of friendship is pitched perfectly for 3-5 year olds who may be negotiating new friendships at school or nursery, or ongoing sibling relationships that definitely have high and low points. We can all relate to the frustration of someone messing up our stuff, but we might also miss all the fun we have with those friends when they’re not around. You guessed it! Squirrel misses Bear! Once Squirrel finds Bear and remedies the hurt, the rest of the book is told in alternating voice, with Bear's and Squirrel's lines designated by different texts. The awards were a "celebration of the creativity that goes into placing the right music with the right ad," she said. This is a cute story about a friendship between a squirrel and a bear. They do everything together and the two of them seem to think that size doesn’t matter until one day it does. Squirrel has had enough! After bear has sunk the boat, thrown him off the seesaw, blown his house apart, and squashed him too many times, Squirrel needs his space. He tells Bear, “I think I need to be on my own. If you don’t mind?”…….There’s bearly any room.”Winners (if any) should have been the brilliantly enigmatic Röyksopp's 'So Easy' for T-Mobile (Baby Image) and/or Aqualung's effortless charismatic 'Strange And Beautiful' (I'll Put A Spell On You) for VW Beetle. The Four Lads released a version of the song in Germany as the B-side to their 1956 single "Round and Round". [4]

Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. For my money, the best ad music ever written is the 1970s R White's lemonade music, sung by the guy who was allegedly Elvis Costello's dad. Someone out there needs to cover this classic piece of glam-stomping product placement! I liked the way Squirrel approached Bear on this matter and the look that Bear gave his friend, it made me smile. Squirrel thinks he’ll be happier without Bear and he is, for just a short while and then, he isn’t. But what can Squirrel do now? The Fontane Sisters released a version of the song in May 1957 which reached #72 on the US pop chart. [5]
