We know very well how we need to be proactive in protecting our children from physical harm, kidnapping, molestation, etc.; protecting them from their own minds and destructive behaviors is just as important. Teach your boys AND your girls (this is no longer an exclusively male issue) how to recognize pornography, flee from it when they see it, and (most importantly) to be open and honest with you when it happens… because in this day and age, it’s not a matter of if… but when. Like most people, I struggled to see the point in this when I bought my first digital camera. Why couldn’t I just leave it on priority mode?
This resource was recommended by one of our international families. We would like to recommend it for parents of young children. Along with the stories that are told, the book also provides great discussion starters for parents to have with their children. This book is designed for discussions to have with kids before they enter the stage of puberty. It also teaches about addictions in general.
