First of all these are a great lightweight set of headphones. They are used for 90% of teams meetings and 10% listening to music. Just follow these 2 basic steps to successfully reset your Jabra Evolve 65 Bluetooth wireless headset. Step 1: Turn on the Evolve 65 headset For the last year my home PC has also been my work PC due to Covid WFH situations so I have it a co-mingled mix of my personal apps like video editing software, sound mixing software, and general use for watching Netflix or YouTube, and work apps like my Fuze softphone, Teams, Skype for Business, Zoom, and WebEx. I've also paired this headset with my cell phone for hands free calling. I've been really happy with how it performs in every case and can't think of anything that has been a major disappointment. The pads on the earphones pivot to align to your ear shape and the head band extends to the size of your head. The headband seems to stay in place well, this is mainly due to the rubber type pad underneath the top band. It would have been nice to have this made out of some nice alcantara or something but this is a small criticism. The E-STD standard microphone sensitivity is comparable to a normal telephone receiver, ensuring that no sound quality is lost by using a headset. Additionally, Wideband audio and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technologies help to suppress echoes and transmit your voice and music, to offer the highest quality experience, not only for softphone calls but also for music streaming. One feature request would be to be able to view the battery charge percentage from Jabra Direct software? That would be nice if the headset's digital voice status is not accurate. The USB to Micro USB cable that comes with it is long enough for me to connect and use with my PC. It's not super lengthy (slightly under 5 feet, between 1.2 to 1.5 meters?), but good enough to be used while you are sitting close to your laptop. Just do not expect that you can walk around your desk with the USB cable attached. After now owning and using them for a few months I can give an honest opinion on how good they are. Super Produkt.Your headset will pair with your device or the Jabra Link adapter, but you keep losing the connection On the right hand side of the headset there is a red illuminating halo that displays if you are busy in a teams call, great to give people around you an indication if you are busy to stop un planned interruptions etc. The headset feels comfortable wearing it for several hours at a time. I do feel a little warm around the ears after two hours straight, but nothing major (expected). It's a work headphone so I have not tested music or game. I have Sony headphones for those other types of activities. The general audio performance will very much depend on a number of factors but in our (very subjective) view, the Evolve2 65 delivered the goods. Conversing over the microphone was a treat and while there’s no ANC, the passive noise cancellation was very usable.
