Some machines do have a compatible repositionable hoop, though, (above in the picture) that allows you to split designs using embroidery software and stitch in two different sessions. In the case of Brother embroidery machines, this repositionable hoop has a 5″x12″ embroidery field. Hi! Are you wanting to manually change thread colors on your machine or do you want the machine to do that for you? If you want the machine to change thread colors by itself without user input, you’ll want to look into multi-needle embroidery machines. The more needles the multi-needle machine has, the more colors it can manage without any user input. These machines are very costly but really awesome! I really can’t recommend this machine based on its age and spotty availability, but I’m listing it here simply because it’s a Janome 5×7 machine.
