About this deal

Whatever flavour of zombie game you're into, they all require loaded guns, steeled nerves, and juicy brains. If any Zeds unit enters a space with any non-Zeds unit, Hand-to-Hand combat immediately takes place. It was a lot of fun to review this game because of its strong history and rabid fan following. First off, fans will rejoice because the production values for this third edition are off the charts. It contains beautiful cardboard counters, a sturdy double-sided board of Farmingdale, full-color linen cards, custom zombie dice, and six rule books. That's right, six rule books. This is the most deluxe version of any game I have seen from Victory Point Games. It's amazing! For those who enjoy a nail-biting, down-to-the-wire fight against the zombie hordes, this is the game to own. It has the right feel and tone of the genre. Even if gamers own previous versions, this is a must buy. It is vastly improved and the components are to die for, literally." The strongest Zeds unit or Zeds Mobs (when there are multiple Zeds on a space) will move, so, determine the total Strength of Zeds on each space by adding up the Strength for each Zeds unit on that space. In Hand-to-Hand combat: the side whose Combat Result is highlighted lost that battle and any of its remaining units must retreat one space. Even if the winning unit or units were eliminated, the losing units must retreat.

A represents the last Hit on the full-strength side, which is enough to flip the unit over to its reduced- strength side. You may apply Hits to Zeds Mobs in any way you desire, placing all the Hits on one unit or splitting them between all the units. Fundamentally, the game involves information markers and fighting units, with the fighting units further broken down into several kinds of Zombies and various good guys. A closer look at these good guys reveals they consist in the main of Heroes, civilians (think of them as locally organized militia units), refugee mobs and VIP survivors.

In the game “Zeds” stands for “Zombie Epidemic Disease” and in real life for how the last letter of the alphabet is pronounced in British – English. The Walking Dead: All Out War A miniatures war game set in Robert Kirkman's comic-book universe Drawing from the Walking Dead comics rather than the TV show, All Out War captures the series' struggle for survival. Zeds x3: When the Zeds units' Strength is at least three times greater than the Player unit's Strength.

Zombie Dice Roll to eat more brains than shotgun blasts Become the zombie and try to keep your head in this fast and furious dice game. When you spend an Event Action or your personal Player Action, you can activate any unit, not just your own.

Step 3. Housekeeping Phase (see Rule 7): Discard the Current Event card and flip any spent Action markers in preparation for the next turn. While the dice rolls are entirely random, the strategy lies in determining when to stop rolling and enjoy the brains you have. Dice come in three different levels of danger; holding onto a red die is practically begging for a shotgun blast to the face. If you accumulate three shotgun blasts before stopping, you have been sufficiently triple-tapped into oblivion. Don't get too greedy, we all want some piece of mind. This is how unassigned Hero and Civilians units get things done, or how your own unit can perform multiple Actions in a single turn. Zombies remain one of the big icons of horror - especially action horror - but that doesn't mean they have to be limited to just films and TV. In fact, there's plenty of zombie board games out there to bring the ravenous horde to your tabletop, either with you trying to survive, escape, bring down or even control the undead themselves. With that in mind, we've outlined the best zombie board games below, to bring a little more mortality to your games night. Best zombie board games
