About this deal

I don't think I even need to say how much I ADORED this book and how sad I am that their story is over! I can only hope that someday there will be more books about this two, because I can't get enough of them! Now the only question that I have is, WHAT I AM SUPPOSED TO DO WITH MY LIFE NOW THAT THIS SERIES ITS OVER? After reading this book, I understand that season 1 of The Crown covered the years 1947-1955 in Queen Elizabeth’s life. There were 10 episodes, and each gets a chapter in this book. No,” Aliyah said, gazing out to the sea. “I’m going home.” And she knew she could, for her act of selflessness had broken the spell. “But I won’t forget you,” she said with a big smile. I liked the art more than the retellings of the fairytales, but it was an enjoyable read and great to see more inclusive fairytales.

I knew (hoped actually) that everything would be okay in the end, that they would defeat Victor and live happily ever after because that's how it's supposed to end right? Vhalla and Aldrik need to end up together, they haven't been through years of plotting, war, and surviving for them to end up dead or not together... But still, I was at the edge of my seat until the very end. Creating brand new breeds of pepper requires a lot of patience. With plants in the first generation carrying many of their parents’ traits, it can take several years for desired traits to emerge through selective breeding, and it takes around 10 generations for hybrids to stabilize with predictable traits and consistent fruit. We’re all friends,” said an unkind girl. Before Aliyah appeared the children were all paying attention to her but now they weren’t. “You’re new. We don’t have to play with you.”

Success!

The queen was consumed by rage, and again she hatched a dark plot. She transformed into an old crone in a hooded robe and moments later appeared in the woods where Ebony sat under an apple tree. CROWNED by Kahran and Regis Bethencourt is a book designed to foster and encourage imagination, equipping young kings and queens with the creativity and ability to overcome any obstacles in their way. Once upon a time, in a land filled with dwarves, witches, and magic, there lived a king and queen who were very much in love, and their love bore them a child. As they sat together looking out at the night sky, the king asked the queen, “What shall we name her?” One of my favorite chapters is told from Tsung’s point-of-view. Titled “Midnight,” this episode reveals Tsung’s love for the prostitute, Moon Swan. Though she entertains many of the soldiers in Xau’s army, Tsung doesn’t care, and Moon Swan also loves him. But both are reluctant to show their true feelings for each other. Really moving and skillfully written.

The book details the history of Windsor family as well as the presentation in the television series. I don’t think they took too many liberties and it gives insight into the royal families actual lives. Seeing them as almost ordinary people, the relationships, scandal, obligations, dealings with the press and acceptance of a duty bound life. Except Edward of course, he said the hell with the obligation and married the woman he loved. This is my favorite book of the year, after Notorious RBG and It's What I Do. Apparently this is a year marked by nonfiction works for me. Sadness was not a feeling Aliyah was used to, for she had the whole of the sea and all its creatures to play with. But the more she longed to be human the sadder she became. She no longer delighted in the feel of the sun on her fishtail or the way the light bounced off her scales.

Currencya former silver coin of the United Kingdom, equal to five shillings: retained in circulation equal to 25 new pence after decimalization in 1971. Fascinating and fast-paced, this is a unique look behind the history that inspired the show and the years that would prove to be the making of the Queen.
