The Intellectual Forum will be hosting a book launch on 12 January 2023, where Paul will discuss his book and signed copies will be available. On 12 January, the Intellectual Forum hosted a book launch for Dr Paul Dominiak's new book on religious doubt, The Falling of Dusk. About the Book A deeply powerful, poetic and compelling book on the challenges facing our world, from one of Australia's most experienced journalists and international commentators, Stan Grant.

That’s because good characters and storytelling make for a universal experience, and this is a project that has both. Sheryl has been painting professionally since 1999 and divides her time between her studios in Leeds and Weardale, County Durham. As dusk falls , the forecourt of the Sydney Opera House is the setting for the climax of the welcoming ceremony, choreographed by Stephen Page, artistic director of Australia's leading indigenous performing arts group, the Bangarra Dance Theatre. Those conversations fed into and shaped the content and the tone of this book, which seeks to move beyond the polemical binary between faith and anti-theism to a more constructive and mutually enriching conversation. The Falling of Dusk puts into critical conversation some of the great doubters of religion with the breadth of the Christian tradition and contemporary theological voices. In academic supervisions and informal discussion groups, I have loved exploring with students of all faiths and none the relationship and tension between faith and doubt. He came to the university after a high-profile journalistic career including six years as chief political correspondent and national affairs editor for The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, and The Canberra Times. In an age of uncertainty and suspicion, Paul Dominiak explores how each of the seven last words attends to doubt as the refining fire of faith, rather than as its enemy.

As Dusk Falls is an evocative, experimental drama that could represent the next generation of narrative games". The author is unafraid to embark on this task by also looking at those not normally found in the pages of a devotional book: from classic thinkers such as Nietzsche and Freud to more recent voices such as Christopher Hitchens. On their way through Two Rock, Arizona they are involved in a car accident with the Holt brothers, Tyler, Dale, and Jay, and their car is left immobile. Mélodie hypnotique avec une excellente synchronisation entre les mélodies de la guitare, du piano et des synthés.

While not a terrible book, this attempts to do big things, centred around the word of Christ in the cross, and it doesn't quite manage it. Jordan Middler of Video Games Chronicle awarded the title 2 stars out of 5, stating, "For every well-developed moment of story interaction, for every revelation that took us by surprise, and for every interesting piece of art, it’s undercut by dialogue that vacillates between contemporary drama and first-year uni project, and an art style that benefits the quiet moments, but utterly wrenches any momentum of action from the piece.
