About this deal

Regalia Resplendent – is an ornate suit of power armor wrought by the Emperor himself. It is made to give superlative protection, without hindering the primarch flighting capabilities. Early life

He could not guide his foresight or direct it to see where he would. It came to him unreliably and without his will or control. It taunted him with dire premonitions, beset him with doubts over his choices and yet to many it was seen as a gift. The delaying action of Guilliman and The Lion allowed Sanguinius and the Blood Angels to reach Terra. He met with Rogal Dorn, Leman Russ, Jaghatai Khan, and Malcador the Sigillite to discuss their upcoming strategy. Sanguinius urged Russ to remain on Terra for the battle instead of leaving to face Horus directly, though not as much as Dorn. Sanguinius' arrival was publicized greatly by loyalist media, his angelic figure being used as propaganda to boost the morale of the failing Imperial war effort. [2x] Resplendent in glittering armour, shrouded in white wings, Sanguinius was the noblest of the Primarchs in physical aspect. Proud and resolute, the Angel radiated a confidence so vital that any shadows of doubt were banished beneath his light. The detail of the Primarch's intricately-worked Artificer Armour was rendered perfectly, the sculpted edges of the golden battle-plate visible along with the fine etching across the brassarts, shoulder guards and breastplate. Following the corruption of Horus by the Chaos Gods after his mortal wounding upon the plague moon of the Feral World of Davin, he began to lay the seeds for his coming rebellion, to overthrow the Emperor, and eventually assume the Imperial throne in his bid to rule the galaxy. In the midst of the darkness of the Horus Heresy, the Blood Angels never wavered, but held true at the Emperor's side.

Even Horus, proud Warmaster of the Great Crusade and Primarch of the Luna Wolves, sensed a purity of spirit in Sanguinius that he could never match, a oneness with their genetic "father" that no other Primarch could ever hope to approach. Whilst many of his brothers fought the Great Crusade solely out of the joy of battle, Sanguinius fought to secure the golden era of peace and prosperity which would surely follow. His vision was the Emperor's, a hope of Mankind united in peace and prosperity. Alas, it was not to be. Sanguinius uniquely among the people of the moon or among the primarch posed a pair of angel-like wings. It is not known if the Emperor intended for Sanguinius to have wings or if the wings are a mutation. Sanguinius also had psychic powers, especially divination that allowed him to see the future. After many battles that saw The Blood become dominant over hordes of mutants, the Emperor arrived and raised his son to fight by his side, leading his own Space Marine Legion, given the title ‘ Blood Angels’.

Blade Encarmine – is an ornate power sword. It was originally wielded by Sanguinius but after his death, in the first Chapter of Master of the Blood Angels, Belarius wields it. It is said that the blade only responds to those who carry the gene code of Sanguinius. I want to start by saying I’ve listened to and loved most of the other primarch series books this one though ….. terrible! I mean this book gives you absolutely nothing you don’t already know about the great Angel. There are exactly 5 times in this book where sanguinius is even present. The book “echoes of eternity” does a better job of giving a history of the primarch on his home world than this book in one chapter. This book isn’t even written from the perspective of the primarch there’s no history on what it was like for him to grow up on Baal no record of what his impressions were when he was united with the revenant legion. This book is not about sanguinius almost at all. it’s about a remembrancer attached to his expeditionary fleet writing a book about the primarch. The sad part about this book is that the theoretical book the remembrancer is writing in this book probably has more details of sanguinius and his history than this actual book, but it gets burned at the very end anyway. This book is worse than pointless. The Emperor of Man was a man with a plan. Alas, that plan went a little awry and his most powerful creations, the Primarchs, went missing as children. It took him many years to be reunited with them all, with many of them being reared on deadly worlds that tested their mettle as they grew into superhuman warriors.I The Solar War • II The Lost and the Damned • III The First Wall • Sons of the Selenar • IV Saturnine • Fury of Magnus • V Mortis • VI Warhawk • VII Echoes of Eternity • Garro: Knight of Grey • VIII The End and the Death ( Volume I • Volume II • Volume III) The Space Marine Legions were the greatest creations of the Emperor of Mankind. That immortal, god-like being crafted incredible transhuman warriors to help Him conquer the galaxy and reunite Mankind's lost colony worlds in the wake of the Age of Strife. Amongst these Legions were the Blood Angels, the IX Legion, who from their earliest days fought staunchly in the service of Emperor and their primarch both.

Unfortunately, and as is often the way in Warhammer, nothing is perfect forever; there was a flaw hidden inside the Blood Angels gene-seed derived from Sanguinius himself. This led the sons of Sanguinius to be cursed with the Red Thirst, an almost overwhelming need to feast on the blood of their foes. Sanguinius worked to keep this hidden from the Emperor, with only his beloved brother Horus becoming aware of the dark heart of the Blood Angels. Sanguinius had a vision that compelled him to go to Davin, the world where Horus had fallen. Inside the temple, The Great Angel managed to activate the world itself. Many Warp storms roared above daemons appearing everywhere. A portal opened that swallowed up Sanguinius. In the portal, The Great Angel foresaw that he manages to kill Lorgar and save the Imperium. The Emperor named him the Imperator Regis. But this vision was an illusion. The Daemon Madail created this illusion to corrupt the Angel. The Lion and Guilliman could not enter the portal, daemons kept them at bay. Sanguinius was trapped in the portal until his Herald, Sanguinor, arrived. Sanguinor allowed the Angel to escape. Sanguinius is immortalised in the magnificent stained glass windows of the Sanctus Praetoria Imperator as fighting high above the raging battle, facing daemons so powerful they could unhinge the minds of great heroes with but a word. Sanguinius single-handedly held the crenellations from the tides of daemonic filth attempting to wash into the holy chambers of the Emperor's abode. Many accounts of the time praise the Blood Angels' valour and unceasing efforts in their defence of the Palace complex's Eternity Wall spaceport. Although hundreds of Blood Angels died, they stemmed a sea of foulness the like of which had never been seen before. Many speak of the bright light bathing Sanguinius' sons as the Primarch slew his foes in the skies above with his mighty blade of fire. And yet, it was upon Horus' Battle Barge in orbit of Terra that Sanguinius was to fulfil his greatest duty.

The Flaw

Battle raged throughout the daemon-infested warship, and Sanguinius became separated from the Emperor and his other comrades. Now isolated, legend tells that he was brought through artifice before the treacherous Horus. Battle Report meanwhile pits the mighty new Astra Millitarum against the pus-filled legions of the Death Guard – will Imperial might prevail, or will they be ground into mush under the inexorable advance of Nurgle’s blight?
