About this deal

This handy chart pulls the primary specifications of each of our H-series cases into one location! This should make cross-referencing and making a decision between them much easier. NZXT has opted for the tried-and-tested shape of its predecessors in the H510, complete with smooth and sleek surfaces all in perfect proportion to one another, and the changes on the exterior are primarily of a practical nature. As such, the I/O panel was updated and now offers a USB 3.1 connector (Type C). Options for Air- and Water Cooling The interior of the NZXT H510 offers space for the installation of a range of high-end hardware: Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX and ATX motherboards can all be installed in the Midi-Tower. For expansion cards, the case offers seven slots. There are seven slots available for expansion cards, and the graphics card is limited to 381 mm in length.

Another 2.5" drive can be installed on the PSU shroud. This means that up to three 3.5" drives- and three 2.5" drives are possible. Behind the motherboard tray, users will find dedicated rails for cable guidance. There are between 19 and 23 mm of space available to help stow away unsightly cables. The H510 Flow is designed for those who like the design of the H510 series but desire better thermal performance. The redesigned front panel certainly helps to reduce heat by allowing front-facing fans to easily pull in cool air. This makes the H510 Flow one of the best mid-tower PC cases, so long as you don't want RGB lighting.

You’ll find the Smart Device v2 controller mounted just above the plastic channels for cable routing. Finally, inside you’ll find two removable bays for 2.5-inch drives, and a drive cage for either 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch drives. You can mount up to three drives of one size at a time, but more drives in combination. Teardown and build impressions Of course, we can’t speak to the case’s temperatures or fan acoustics during normal use, as we did not conduct a full review of the case, but we still feel comfortable with an initial favorable impression—the H500, the H510 Elite’s predecessor, did fairly well on both scores.

The NZXT H510 Midi-Tower offers, like its predecessors, an attractive and minimalist design. NZXT has decided to refresh the front panel with new cutting-edge connectors such as USB Type C. The Features of the NZXT H510 Midi-Tower at a Glance: As was the case with its predecessors, the NZXT H510 does not offer external drive support. Internally however, users are free to install a large number of drives if needed: beneath the PSU shroud lies a hard drive cage. This enables users to install up to three 3.5" hard drives. Gordon did not believe that the scuffs were permanent, but even with a little buffing, some remained.
