Bella Parker is a 2020-introduced and all-around character. She is a student at Rainbow High that focuses in Art Direction with a special focus on Set Design. Bella has big dreams and the vision to make them come true. She's the overachiever at Rainbow High with a timeless style that's as polished as she is. Bella was made for art direction, because it combines two of her greatest strengths - creativity and perfectionism. Bella is also a natural leader at Rainbow High, because she knows how to bring out the best in all her friends. But Bella's focus and determination sometimes go too far and occasionally push her to break the rules. Bella, along with Lila and Nicole, took part in Naomi's Set Design Workshop. Bella appears to dislike her, especially when she says her best work is somewhere between basic and mediocre. Having a large role, Sunny works in a special group alongside the band Rainbow Dream, feeling very excited to work with them. When they make their entrance however, they instantly begin arguing with each other, stressing her out. They try to work through this but hit a wall, with Sunny taking charge and getting everyone organized into roles. Now with the group more organized, they present their project, having put their hearts into it. Sunny is shown presenting her Radiant Week project on a tape recorded by Naomi and Veronica Storm to the Shadow High students, where Shanelle and Luna comment about her being an evil twin sister.

Sunny makes a minor at the end of the episode congratulating Ruby for getting the job, and she enjoys croissants with the girls at The Rainbow Union. Bella had a much duller, more rose gold color scheme within the first few episodes of the animated series. For an unknown reason, this was changed to a brighter, more pink color. She makes another appearance celebrating Violet's millionth view with her. Ruby and Jade are angry at Violet for posting Bella's expulsion video, but Sunny is on Violet's side. Thankfully, her new roommate Poppy was able to cheer her up by playing music on the way to class. She then meets Ms. Wright who shows her to her runway group and gives them their big assignment. Sunny is approached by Lila, learning that she also loves animation. With this shared interest, they both walk off to sit down with Sunny's friends, she even waves at Luna across the room with Ash and Nicole, and starts watching Rainbow Vision. While being close and stable friends, Skyler and Jade do not interact very much, but they show a great deal of respect for each other's talents and contributions. Having very opposing personalities and style, Jade is her closest in her friend group. With Jade advising, helping and defending her when ever the opportunity arises. When Bella wanted to risk her spot at Rainbow High for a competition to have a summer internship with Ramona Barnes, Jade talks her out of it. The following night when Bella can't sleep Jade keeps her distracted by taking her around the school. However Bella betrays Jade's trust and enters the competition anyways. Once Ms. Wright announces Bella's expulsion during class Jade is crushed. After class ends Jade runs to find Bella so she can say a tearful and heartfelt goodbye, Reminding Bella that no matter what happens she'll always be a part of their group. When Violet posts a video of Bella getting expelled and it goes viral, Bella talks to Jade in tears. Jade promises to make things right, and confronts Violet about the situation. Jade is initially very excited for Bella's return to Rainbow High, her face lighting up the second she lays eyes on her. However their relationship has changed once Bella returned. Jade believes Bella is upset with her because they haven't hung out or talked much since Bella's return. When Bella is leaving to the Sparkle Sister's Ski Lodge for winter break, Jade is the only one who doesn't say goodbye to her, instead shying away with an upset look on her face. During Radiant Week however they seem to have a big fight but they make up and talk a little afterwords. They seem to be on good terms once again for now.While starting out typical, Bella and Violet's relationship changed forever when Violet posted Bella's expulsion onto the internet, unintentionally humiliation Bella. She then calls Jade, demanding that she tell Violet to take the video off the internet. Once confronted, Violet denies taking the video down, not fully grasping how hurt Bella truly is. After Jade and Ruby gives her a taste of her own medicine, Violet removes the video and apologizes to Bella, mending their relationship. They are still good friends. With Amaya still being a bit worried about fitting in with her new group, Sunny continues to guide and help Amaya throughout the episode. She is also the first character to be introduced to the school's Color Change Chamber, being the one to convince the rest of the girls to give it a try. When Jade and Amaya make it up, she suggests taking a selfie with the new group, uniting them as a group.
