There are more touching and emotional scenes throughout the series which Taylor is just so great with, so it’s awesome to see him continue to execute that. Cyborg features prominently, as do the Super Sons, Damien Wayne and Jon Kent, who are now adults and have assumed the mantles of Batman and Superman, respectively. Jon knew that there were billions infected and a cure existed, which made him more determined than ever to find it.

Though John put up a valiant effort, the artifacts he collected were not enough to take down Trigon and he was killed during combat. Luckily for them, the bunker door opens for them to enter and Penguin offering them a chance to enter. She takes the remaining survivors into the sanctuary where they are greeted by Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Doctor Fate, John Constantine, and Zatanna.

While Robert Kirkman’s Marvel Zombies had more laughs and, arguably, more blood and guts, DCeased was a pretty decent story that certainly tugged on the heart strings a lot more, to its credit.
