Can anyone else think of a rpg game with DLC that changed the entire game, and gave it another games worth of content?

It’s that same feeling of starting out in a world with little explicit guidance, finding something that piques your curiosity on your own, doing whatever it takes to get there, and then being rewarded for that curiosity. This does not make as much sense as you can disconnect from each other, walk 2 feet, and summon again in the new area.In the Lands Between ruled by Queen Marika the Eternal, the Elden Ring, the source of the Erdtree, has been shattered. If this is correct, future DLC will include a minimum of seven new areas to explore, and based on the difficulty scaling, would place them after Volcano Manor + North Caelid and before Leyndell Sewers (Subterranean Shunning-Grounds). That’s not to take anything away from Breath of the Wild – it was awesome, but that pattern became somewhat routine well before the end. I look forward to supplementing that knowledge with the inevitable painstakingly detailed lore videos that emerge from the community later.
