About this deal

Lauka Vai sits at odds with the rest of the Avengorii clan. A dynasty that embraces the bestial side of vampirism, and forgoes any semblance of human civility, they’re most comfortable around Vargheists and Fell Bats. Lauka Vai, meanwhile, clings onto the noble world of knighthood she once knew, while satiating that ever-creeping thirst.

Some useful command traits options include Soul-Crushing Contempt, which gives -1 Bravery when within 3″ of the General, pairing well with Immortal Majesty. Premeditated Violence gives exploding 6s, which is always handy, though its probably going to compete with Walking Death which causes damage to convert to mortal wounds on 6s to wound! Includes a step-by-step user guide for how to build Radukar, The Beast, from plastic sprue, through to a completed model which is fully assembled and ready to paint. You could use this unit to extend the aura of Legion of Blood’s Immortal Majesty, making more models run when near a Vampire. Which is kinda odd, really, changing the dynasty and heritage of unique named characters, but rules as written they’re in any dynasty or legion you so choose. At 200 points though, I don’t think even the spell or dynastic flexibility makes the unit worth it. The 60 point ‘Warhammer Underworlds warband tax’ strikes again! BattlelineHaving a hard time figuring out how to make Radukhar’s Court work. Obviously the points cost is large, and the units take up all of your hero slots with analogous, less effective versions of regular heroes. I feel like with the rest of a 2k list being filled with shambling hordes could work (particularly if there are more command points available in the new edition), but this seems extremely slow moving and difficult to maneuver aggressively. Has anyone found a good use for this massive, 700+ point “unit?” Anyway, there are 5 subfactions. As normal, it does not limit you from including anything, although some bloodlines are oriented toward a particular playstyle or grant additional battlelines. Many characters in the book are already part of a subfaction and you can include them in other stuff but they won’t gain the benefits of the legion. We’ll go over the traits of each legion and what that playstyle means, and a few choice artefacts and traits that might be worth looking at. For a full deep dive, we’ll work on a start competing within the coming weeks. Legion of Blood I'm playing Vyrkos and I really want Vyrkos legion to be represented by thematic units, aspecially when they exist. So I'll deffinetly take Vyrkos Bloodborn, Zombie Ogors and Vargskyr. Others are ok, just not interested right now. And proxy Radukar the Wolf as Custom Vampire Lord, because he has right base size of 40mm. Saving one of the best till last here in the Necromancer. Armed with his trusty staff, Deadwalker wound sponge in Undead Minions and Vanhel’s Danse Macabre you’ve got yourself a model which will appear in a lot of lists. Vanhel’s Danse Macabre being cast on a 6 means it won’t always go off but you’ll be casting it nearly every turn and it lasts until your next hero phase so you can use it with the Skeletons mentioned later to try and pre-empt the enemy coming in and regen more than you otherwise might think you’ll be able to.

Warhammer Fest Online: Day 1 – Warhammer Age of Sigmar Warhammer Fest Online: Day 1 – Warhammer Age of Sigmar

You can learn all about this returning deity in Broken Realms: Kragnos, which will finish out the series with a bang. Overall, good changes. The old book’s spell list held up surprisingly well and keeping them intact was a good call. It’s helped further by Nagash knowing all 13 spells and given he can cast 8 spells a turn at full health, that is a lot of versatility. Bloodlines The last faction to release before the launch of Age of Sigmar third edition, the Soulblight Gravelords represent a reimagining of the Vampire Counts of old, a replacement of the tired Legions of Nagash, and a brand new army in their own right. If ranks of shambling skeletons, bloodthirsty beasts, arcane magic, and the colour red appeal, these ghouls should make you feel right at home. The last survivor of an ancient race, Kragnos is like nothing we’ve seen in Warhammer Age of Sigmar. He’s worshipped as a god by the forces of Destruction, and it’s easy to see why. He towers over all but the Mega-Gargants, and tales of his might have been passed down since the Age of Myth.A hideous amalgamation of bat, drake, and humanoid body, Vai is nevertheless possessed with a sliver of self-control and even conscience. She remembers the pride she felt as a fierce warrior queen, and she hasn’t allowed herself to succumb completely to her instincts. We’ve got some amazing things to show you today. Settle in and get comfortable, and make sure you’re well hydrated. We don’t want you to do a spit-take all over your screen. I think a lot of the anger is coming off a string of pretty broken books, between Seraphon and Lumineth we’ve been spoiled for meta-defining books which reinvent the entire competitive scene and a course correction was bound to happen. We also don’t know what this might mean for third edition because the book is definitely written with that in mind. We’ll need to wait a few weeks for the full picture. A super-tall, visually incredible sculpt, this lady is going to be in high demand for Soulblight armies. In a welcome twist, the kit can also be constructed as a generic, non-named-character variant, the Vengorian Lord, which in itself looks pretty ace. A new (if very old) face is Radukar’s great great (we don’t really know how many greats) grandmother (grandsire?), Belladamma Volga. Clad in luxurious, somewhat slav-esque garb, and furs, and riding a huge Dire Wolf side-saddle, she’s a deeply unnerving combination of apparent physical frailty, and huge implicit threat, sat on top of what has to be one of Age of Sigmar’s simplest, but finest, scenic character bases yet.

But Radukar isn’t the only member of the Vyrkos bloodline who’s on the rise, nor is he the oldest… Belladamma Volga, First of the VyrkosI do not play in tournaments. I'll just assign my own point values to every court's unit afrreing with friends. Naturally, we got no hints as to when (or in what configurations) any of these bloodthirsty beauties will actually be available. Some of them, at least, can be expected to drop with the Soulblight Gravelords Battletome, but, since we’ve no release schedule for that either, vamp fans will have to wait for now. Perhaps the rest of Warhammer Fest’s reveal schedule may provide. If you’re interested in a broader overview of the fantastical factions that call the Mortal Realms home, have a read of our Age of Sigmar armies guide. But if the sight of immortal fiends doesn’t shake your bones, then read on. After years of collecting, buying and selling, building and painting, we realised that we had amassed a small library of Build Instructions, Assembly Instructions and User Guides for various Games Workshop products.
