Can be used on both interior and exterior surfaces, providing versatile protection against water damage Stormdry Cream appears white immediately after treatment, making it easy to tell which areas have been treated. After 15 – 20 minutes from application the cream starts to penetrate into the masonry and the whiteness will fade over time. After 24 – 48 hours the wall will have returned to its original into masonry it can take up to two months for a noticeable “beading effect” to appear when rainfall strikes the wall. Stormdry Cream goes on white then dries clear, allowing you to easily see where you’ve already applied for consistent coverage.

The masonry will generally be resistant to light rain after 2 – 4 hours. As Stormdry Cream is formulated to penetrate deeply to ensure that Stormdry Cream does not splash onto glass, paintwork, patios, plants, etc. Any splashes should be cleaned away with warm soapy water to avoid staining. After application, tools should be cleaned immediately with warm, soapy water. Once applied, it absorbs into and bonds with walls, making them waterproof without changing their appearance.Energy Saving: energy savings of up to 29% are possible by keeping walls dry using Stormdry, because dry walls are better insulators than wet walls. Stormdry is the only colourless masonry water repellent treatment that carries BBA approval (cert. number 15/5198). After extensive testing to determine continued water-repellency after aggressive freeze-thaw and UV exposure, the BBA issued a certificate with the followiung durability statement: Please ensure that Stormdry is applied when the temperature is 5°C or above. We also recommend doing a patch test as Stormdry can sometimes darken the substrate e.g. Sandstone.
