Sometimes she causes things to go wrong with her arrogance - for instance, in the episode 'It Wasn't Me', Bella accidentally breaks one of the strings from Max's marionette puppet despite everyone having been told not to play with it as it was "special", and she hides it in Doodles' bed and tries to blame him. Her favourite activities include dancing (especially ballet), painting, singing and playing with dolls. Fizz is looking after the toy lamb, so Max takes her and Jake off to the farm to see some real lambs.

Judy suggests that they all dress up to tell the story of the smallest rabbit who managed to banish a herd of elephants from his family's home. Bella (operated by Tamsin Heatley, Emma Quintin, Esther Collins; voiced by Sally Preisig 1999–2000, Emma Weaver 2000–2002 in the UK, Alyson Court in the US) is a five-year-old blue-skinned girl with blonde hair and a red hair bow. Fizz excitedly tells everybody that her mother is about to have a baby, and the baby is expected that day.The friends learn about Hanukkah, the Jewish festival of lights, and decide to hold their own Hanukkah party. Fizz does not like creepy crawlies, but Bella persuades her to look for butterflies because they are pretty and gentle.

Milo and Fizz told Jake that he does not have to be big to be brave, and he learns to control the boisterous new pet. They use their magnifying glasses to look at them closely and the Tweenies imagine they are in an anthill dancing with the ants. Judy has an eventful trip to the seaside when she comes to a boat's rescue while helping a lifeboat crew.

Jake has a terrible tantrum when he cannot tie his shoelaces, then dreams that he is superhero Dot Man. Bella and Milo fall out and won't talk to each other, so Jake and Fizz try to make the peace, but eventually, it's Doodles who comes to the rescue.

Max and Judy have a race against each other, with Max driving a modern car and Judy driving an old-fashioned one. Dotman and Alf Elf visit Santa in his grotto at the North Pole to watch him wrap his gifts, and what to do when you have no wrapping paper, only potatoes. Max goes to the park with his friends Connor and Grace and they need to cross some busy roads to get there. She has also brought in some Diwali costumes, and the Tweenies act out the story of Princess Sita, Prince Rama, Prince Lakshman and Hanuman the magical monkey.The Tweenies find many metal objects, and with a little help from Bella's fairy wand, fill the room with shiny metal.

Fizz arrives just in time to sing Here we go Round the Mulberry Bush, but before they finish, she has to go to the toilet. Judy, Fizz and Jake race snails after finding one in the garden, while Milo and Bella make racing cars. He then accidentally uses Fizz's special cushion to wipe them clean – which upsets Fizz a great deal.Jake notices that the curtains of the Surprise Area are twitching every now and then, and he and the other Tweenies decide that there is a monster behind them. Fizz thinks it would be a good idea to paint rainbows, but Bella decides that the only color for her is red, and so she creates a club where everything has to be red. Fizz (operated by Jenny Hutchinson 1999–2000, Angela Reynolds 2000, Francesca Anderson 2001–2002; voiced by Colleen Daley in the UK, Lisa Yamanaka in the US) is a four-year-old yellow-skinned girl with reddish brown beaded hair. When she spoils things for everyone, she tries to help Jake build a wall until she wants to make a different one but Jake doesn't want to then she ruins Fizz's hats but she didn't want them painting then she throws Milo's stepping stones and he gets angry and all 3 of them tell Bella to go away and Max angrily tells Bella to go and do something else until Doodles helps out. The rain spoils the Tweenies' plans for a visit to the farm so instead they make their own rainy day collage and dive right in.
