About this deal

Since rebranding from Tesco Loves to Fred & Flo, this Tesco own brand has worked on improving the absorbency of its nappy range. It seems the hard work has paid off, as BabyCentre parents can’t stop raving about how absorbent they are. The cost of Aldi and Lidl nappies varies depending on the size you choose. Aldi nappies tend to be slightly cheaper. Reassuringly, the range is accredited by the Skin Health Alliance, is dermatologically tested and hypoallergenic. The only downside parents have noticed is that the nappies don’t have the wetness indicator which many other brands have to help detect when nappy changes are needed. Still need convincing? Aldi Mamia Size 1 newborn nappies are great value for money and cost just 79p for 24 nappies. That works out at a wallet-friendly 3.2p per nappy.

Along with special features to accommodate comfort, fit and dryness, most Pampers nappies also include a wetness indicator, which changes from yellow to blue when it detects liquid. This feature is available all the way up to size 6. Aldi says its nappies have an ultra-dry air system with a fast-absorbing core to keep your baby dry for up to 12 hours. The nappies don’t contain any perfume, lotion or latex and are designed to be soft and breathable with a slim design for free movement. Aldi's nappies are available in sizes one to six, and there are also plus sizes for extra absorbency. Lidl Lupilu Nappies In June 2022, we asked 674 UK parents to rate the nappies they use on absorbency, comfort, ease of use, fit and value for money. The company is based and designed in New Zealand, but the range is sold exclusively at Tesco – great for convenience!

I think they're great at absorbing wee. My baby sleeps 11 hours at night and her skin is still dry in the morning. The price is great too!"

Mamia | ALDI

Aldi and Lidl both sell low-cost supermarket nappies for families looking to keep their little ones dry at a reasonable price.

Because they're so absorbent it's usually easy to avoid nappy rash by changing your baby’s nappy regularly. We're giving away thousands of free nappies, so don't forget to let your friends know about this amazing offer, too! You can resell them or keep them if you’re planning to have more children in the future. And you can buy second-hand.
