About this deal

It uses Bluetooth and has a bit of a triangular shape to it, which makes it very comfortable to hold. It also offers plenty of contrast and vibrant colors, although if you raise the brightness level all the way up, the picture does get a tad washed out. It’s bright enough to achieve a large picture without having to resort to blackout measures, it produces a great picture, and its built-in speakers are good enough to fill a room, even if they lack a bit of excitement.

There's also an automatic obstacle avoidance feature which can fit the picture to the screen, or a blank section of a wall—to avoid projecting part of the image on a framed picture or light switch for example. I took measurements of image size from the actual movie frame, and compared this with the projector’s distance from the wall.

Settings shortcut: access/adjust settings for 3D video setup, image quality, sound output, Keystone Correction, and more.

Although I would have preferred using the optical cable, this way works just fine and is so much better than the built-in speakers on the projector. I’ve spent a week thoroughly testing the Elfin, covering everything that an average person like you or me cares about, so you can see exactly what works well and what doesn’t. The flipside to this is the 800 ANSI Lumens of the projector – nothing with an internal battery is going to match this.Original XGIMI Projector Floor Stand,Projector Tripod Support Horizon /Horizon Pro/Elfin/Halo/MOGO PRO and Other Brand Projectors,360°Free Rotation, Height 19. You can adjust image settings to a reasonable degree (turning off the annoying motion smoothing is a good start, particularly if you’re watching films) and HDR is supported in its HLG and HDR10 forms. Using the built-in Wi-Fi you can connect to your home network, log in with your Google account, then install smart TV apps and games.

The Elfin is still just a 1080p projector, though, so it does fall a little bit short when going for the extreme projection sizes. Despite the differing brightnesses of 400 ISO Lumens for the MoGo 2 Pro nad 800 ANSI Lumens for the Elfin, in practice both projectors are similarly bright. HDR 10 helps Elfin provide the ultimate contrast ratio, making the brightest image colors brighter and the dark areas more pronounced. Low power consumption plus an ultra-efficient LED light source equals a durable, eco-friendly device that is fully usable, even when watching 6 hours per day for over 10 years.

Due to subsequent changes involving product batches, production, and supply factors, it may be necessary for XGIMI to make changes and adjustments to text and images so that they match the performance, specifications, indexes, and components of the actual product. Today, we have millions of users a month from around the world, and assess more than 1,000 products a year. operating system installed, and the remote does a fine job, though the system can be a little slow to react to Google Assistant commands. The Elfin’s speakers aren’t necessarily quiet, and you can still fill a room with sound, but they lack the ability to really push lower-end frequencies.

This lets you use the volume buttons to manually adjust focus, but also gives you a shortcut to re-run the auto-focus.

Although best suited for night-time viewing where you’ll have no problems getting a 100-inch picture, the Elfin offers powerful sound and accurate colors, combined with some clever auto-setup options that makes it a treat to use anywhere in the home.
