About this deal

It is slightly better but I think It would need more of an intensive removal. You can use the Stain Remover and use it for a deep soak. We were also given the Colour run remover but as the Colour and Dirt collector sheet and Glow-white had done such a fab job we haven’t had the need to use it yet. I will update the review once we have. As the name suggests this product does contain bleach, so you must be careful when you use it. Given the fact that this is the core ingredient, you’re almost always guaranteed perfect white clothes – and it won’t cost you a fortune either!

All of the products above are designed to whiten clothes in a timely fashion, so it would be difficult to choose the ‘fastest working product’. The instructions are very simple. Use the wipe to clean around the seal and to relieve the inside of the door of any dirt and then pour the powder into the cleaning compartment and use as you would on a normal wash. I did point out that it was simple enough for my husband or indeed my two older children to use but as suspected, I didn’t get any takers.

As well as lightening whites, this product is also anti-bacterial and can be used for stain removal. What’s more is the fact that you only need to use one to two tablespoons of the solution when you pre-soak your garments before you wash them in your washing machine (or you can skip the pre-soaking and throw your clothes and Ecover straight into your washing machine). For large wash loads or where an intensive treatment is required, use both sachets. Always remember to remove and then dispose of the empty sachet(s) at the end of the wash. Unwanted Food or Drink Products - Once supply conditions are broken, there are a number of factors outside of our control that can affect the quality of a product. Therefore perishable goods such as food and drink cannot be returned.

But, if you need to remove tough stains from white clothes, and you don’t mind using chemicals during the process and you’ve got plenty of time spare, the Ace For Whites Laundry Bleach would be ideal for you. If you’re looking for a bleach-style product that isn’t actually tough chlorine bleach, then Ecover Laundry Bleach is what you need! Bio-D’s Laundry Bleach is a good choice if you have sensitive sink, as it’s free from enzymes and synthetic perfumes. It won’t leave behind an unpleasant chemical smell. Suitable for washing white garments with colour. Wash matching pieces together. Always remove empty sachet at the end of the wash cycle. Suitable for all temperatures and washable, colourfast items. Keep out of reach of children.

Disclaimer

As we don’t have a dishwasher and I still wanted to review the cleaner I passed it over to my sister Tasha over at Mummy and Moose to review. Here is what she had to say about it-

Contains amongst other ingredients: 15-30 % Oxygen based Bleaching Agents. Less than 5 % Anionic Surfactant and Aliphatic Hydrocarbons. Optical brighteners, Perfumes. Directions for use Wash as normal, the intensive formula is effective on a wide variety of fabrics and works from 20ºC upwards. For reasons of hygiene and safety, personal grooming products, cosmetics or items of intimate clothing cannot be returned. Users of Ace For Whites have noted that it works well on hair dye stains, sprucing up bedding and keeping white underwear in tip-top form! You can use it directly in the washing machine by adding a tablespoon of the powder to your detergent drawer. Alternatively, you can dilute it in water for hand-washing or soaking clothes. You put a microfiber sheet in with each wash and that’s it! It works by using innovative microfiber technology which provides the best colour protection. If you’re looking for an eco-friendly option made using natural ingredients, Bio-D’s Laundry Bleach could be a good choice.

Of course, any pre-treatments you do will lengthen the laundry whitening process, but may provide better results.

Dr Beckmann Glowhite Ultra 2x40g

All of the products listed above need at least 1 washing machine’s cycle worth of washing, so you should see results by the end of this cycle. It is up to you to decide how long you want this cycle to last. The only downside is that the sachets get mixed results. For example, if you have relatively clean white clothes, then this product will help to keep the white colour in your clothes. So I went through the house and collected all the whites I could find. There isn’t that many as I tend not to buy whites but I found enough to do the job.
