On the bridge of the Ark, Optimus was alerted to Windblade having stolen the AllSpark and made for a nearby planet. Taking Cheetor, Bumblebee, and Hot Rod with him, Optimus followed the cityspeaker through an an abandoned city, facing off against a horde of automated defences, as an entity guided Windblade to bring the AllSpark to the city centre. Though the quartet caught up to Windblade, they were too late to prevent her from opening the AllSpark. To their surprise however, the entity revealed itself as a Titan, Croaton. Revealing that the city was once a Cybertronian colony, Croaton apologized for the trouble he'd caused before he returned the Autobots their shuttle and went on his way.
