Never before has water been used to create STEAM In a grill brush-Absolutely the best most effective and thorough and safe way to clean a grill !

It’s important to get a heat-safe grill brush. If the instructions warn against using the brush on a hot surface, it’s a good indication the bristles are glued (as opposed to structurally secured) and are more likely to fall out with repeated use. And if the brush head and shaft aren’t all constructed of metal, be sure to look for “heat resistant” or “heat safe” in the product description. Water Activated Grill Cleaning Brush – Water activated design cleans with steam power thanks to a core made of Scrub Daddy’s exclusive FlexTexture foam. Submerge the scrubbing head in cold water and apply directly to your preheated grill. Watch months of cooking residue melt away with this steam grill brush for outdoor grills. Grill Daddy offers the upgrade to cheap disposable grill cleaning products with luxurious, ergonomic products that perform well, will last for years to come, and will protect you from the searing heat of your grill. Satisfaction guaranteed! Why choose Grill Daddy? To get an optimal result, preheat the BBQ on high intensity for 10 minutes, to burn off the food residue. So why settle for ordinary when you can have extraordinary? Get your hands on BBQ Daddy and make your BBQ cleaning experience a fun-filled adventure. Say goodbye to grime and hello to the best BBQ cleaner you’ve ever seen! The most effective grill brushes are made with brass or food-grade stainless steel bristles. Brass is softer than stainless steel but strong enough to get a grill grate good and clean, so if you’re worried about scratching or otherwise damaging your grill, but still want the strength of a metal bristle, brass is a good option. If you want to avoid metal wires altogether, there are a few good grill brushes with synthetic bristles, like nylon, and even some made of natural plant fibers. Some nylon bristles are even brightly colored, so you’d notice if one broke away from the brush. You can also buy a grill brush with a scour pad-type head, though this style is generally less durable than a bristle-style brush. If you’d like to avoid any type of bristle brush, you can get a grill brush that has a scour-pad head. It’s basically a steel wool pad affixed to a handle. Generally, though, these are less effective and far less durable than bristle brushes. That said, some people like to use scrubbers as more of a polishing step after they use a brush or scraper, which can prolong the life of this style. Maybe I'm getting used to it, but the more I use it, the more I like it. The steam isn't magic but it does help, especially when the grill is very hot. We were unimpressed with the premise: Take a grill brush, hollow out the handle like a dishwashing wand and fill it with water, and the squirt-'n'-scrape tandem was somehow going to make it easier to clean off calcified drippings. But the thing was the size of a croquet mallet and we had plenty of grease to grind off, so we fired up the charcoal and let the old kettle start smoking. As veteran grillers, we've long recommended heating up the griddle over the coals before any attempt to scrape the residue, because the heat makes it much easier to clean. But steam? That was a new one. The steam does the cleaning with any brush, not just the Grill Daddy brush. As for the key feature, the Grill Daddy Pro just dribbles the water out with little control, and if it comes out too fast at times, it cools the grill so the cleaning is not as effective.

If you prefer to forego wire bristles altogether—or are just looking for something inexpensive and disposable—these grill grate cleaners are surprisingly effective. They need to be used on a cool grill, as the nylon construction will melt if exposed to high heat, but they excelled in our testing, doing an impressive job removing gunk and grease with just a few passes. Of course, the most important thing to remember about maintaining a grill brush is that when the bristles become bent and smashed or any bristles start to come loose, it’s time to replace the entire brush, or at least the head, if that's possible. Heat-resistant ArmorTec Steel mesh with interwoven stainless steel fibre means NO DANGEROUS BRISTLES.

On the price, I'd have replaced one or two of the cheaper ones since buying this one so the value is there even if it costs more up front. Description Get ready to revolutionize your BBQ cleaning routine with BBQ Daddy! Say goodbye to boring bristles and hello to the power of steam! We’re here to make cleaning fun and easy. Some grill brushes or brush heads are dishwasher safe, but it's typically better to wash them by hand to avoid getting grease and food residue in your dishwasher. If you do opt to put your brush in the dishwasher, be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions—for instance, you may have to remove the brush head first or keep the tool on the top shelf of your appliance.

Replacing the brush is super easy

The best way to clean a grill brush is by soaking it in hot water with a squirt of dish soap and swishing it around to remove as much crud as possible. If you have another grill or kitchen brush available, you can also rub the two together—this is a great way to dislodge even more gunk and clean deep within the bristles. Once you've gotten most of the debris out, rinse the brush to remove any soap residue and hang it to dry. We’re not going to tell you you won’t ever have to replace the brush, but we can tell you you’ll be doing it way less with the Grill Daddy than with the other brushes on the market. Still, if you need to buy a Grill Daddy Regular replacement brush or a Grill Daddy Pro replacement brush, you can do this easily with us.
