About this deal
Overall, it seems a very favourable comparison: the two sets are similarly priced even though the L-Motor is twice the price of an M-Motor. The model has lots of playability, Power Functions have been included, and the set is very reasonably priced. I am sure that this set will appeal to a wide range of fans.
A delicate fishing rod is used as a dummy aerial. I'm not sure how long this part will last as it bends quite easily. You will soon find out that the Stunt Racer needs the wheelie bar that has been fitted at the rear of the chassis. Two pairs of 16-tooth gears transfer power from the L-Motors to the axles. A combination of 8-tooth and 24-tooth gears (not supplied) could be utilised here to change the gearing and speed of the racer. All the weight is centred above the rear axle and having the battery box raised means the racer has a relatively high centre of gravity. Given that new LEGO sets are being released utilising the Powered Up system, I am surprised that this model uses reverts to the traditional Power Functions. The first thing you will notice about the Stunt Racer is that, due to its near instantaneous acceleration, the racer will perform wheelies every time you race it. I think the Technic designers have continued on a winning Technic concept with this latest Remote-Controlled Stunt Racer. Includes the following LEGO® Power Functions components: 2 large motors, receiver, battery box and a remote control. The battery box is slung under the chassis, so the B-Model has a very low centre of gravity: there are no wheelies with this model.
This LEGO® Technic™ set is designed to provide an immersive and rewarding building experience, and features realistic movement and mechanisms, helping young builders enhance their motor skills, hand-eye coordination and imagination. The rear of the box tries to demonstrate how the Stunt Racer can pull wheelies. It also shows the B-Model.

With its 2 electric motors, receiver and remote control, this LEGO model provides great driving moments, while being a construction set. Its 2 large plastic chains transport it easily over various obstacles. Another plus point is the 2-in-1 system: if you wish, you can assemble all 324 parts to form a sportier off-road vehicle with a rear spoiler. The main model measures 17 x 22 x 15 cm, the alternative measures 12 x 20 x 19 cm. The manufacturer does not supply batteries. Before you take off into the sunset though, you'll need 6 AA and 3 AAA batteries. Customise Your Car I decided to build the B-Model as it had a couple of significant design differences to the main model.
