About this deal

I am quite impressed by the battery life. I have been able to use the QCY T13 for about 8 hours straight, which is quite significant in general and even more so given the super-affordable price they are sold at. Interestingly, the earphones start complaining about low battery (with a repeated modulated tone) more than half an hour before they eventually give up. Sound & Specs Buying a pair of the best budget earbuds can be a challenge. You might uncover a real gem or land yourself with a pair or buds that barely work, let alone sound good. Another consideration is material. Most eartips are made of silicone, but memory foam is another option, and it can create a better, more comfortable seal. Some earbuds, such as Sony’s WF-1000XM4 come with memory foam eartips, but you can also buy third-party memory foam tips from companies like Comply, which create these tips for a wide variety of wireless models. Passive noise isolation Earbuds are small and therefore their battery is smaller too. They heavily rely on their charging cases to ensure you won't run out of power while on the move, but that's not always convenient if you need to use them at the same time.

These are the key to both great ANC/transparency and great phone calls. But don’t assume that just because a set of earbuds has two, four, six, or even eight microphones, that ANC and calling will be awesome — much depends on the way the mics are oriented, amplified, and the signal processing that the earbuds employ. Multiple eartips A single charge provides up to 7 hours of playtime. The charging case offers an additional 5 full charges, delivering an ultra-long 35 hours of total battery life. Waterproofing Now that we know what exactly true wireless earbuds are, let’s see whether they’re worth getting over regular wireless earbuds, starting with the advantages of the former over the latter. The Advantages of True Wireless Many newer models now come with the ability to locate missing earbuds and/or their charging case using the manufacturer’s app. Some models are equipped with Apple’s Find My capability, which doesn’t require a third-party app if you’re using an iOS device. Apple also lets you flag its AirPods family of earbuds as missing within the Find My interface, which might help someone return them to you should they get lost. If you're looking for a solid pair of true wireless earbuds on a budget with noise cancelling baked in, then we highly recommend the Earfun Air Pro 3.Granted, it’s not as if regular wireless earbuds have more room for these things, but they at least don’t have to maintain a wireless connection between the two earpieces, courtesy of the pesky wire. The 13mm graphene-coated dynamic drivers deliver punchy bass and crisp mids and highs. The Uaue Q13 Wireless Earbuds produces immersive hi-fi stereo sound. Noise Cancellation You want top quality sound and have a stretchier budget: If sound quality is top of your list and you can spend a little more, do that. Adopt the advanced Bluetooth 5. 1 technology. which greatly improve the transmission speed and providing you with a low-latency listening experience.

Do you intend to workout with your earbuds? If so, you'll need buds that will stay put, so look out for interchangeable eartips and fins to hold them in place. If your earbuds offer ANC or they simply have very good passive noise isolation, having a transparency mode (often referred to as ambient mode) is helpful. When activated, it uses the onboard microphones to pipe external sounds into your ear. Some earbuds let you fine-tune the amount of external sound, and some even offer the option of amplifying that sound as a form of hearing enhancement. Transparency modes are not only helpful for having a conversation without needing to remove the earbuds, but they also offer greater situational awareness when you’re near potential hazards like traffic or construction, airport announcements, or even just to hear a crying baby. USB-CThe majority of true wireless earbuds have touch-sensitive controls because it makes it easier to do things like waterproofing. But while some touch controls are highly responsive, many can be difficult to use. Unless a reviewer has indicated that a model’s touch controls are good, you may want to consider models that use physical buttons instead, like the Beats Studio Buds, Jabra Elite 7 Pro, or Master & Dynamic MW08. Physical buttons are also much easier to use with gloves on, for folks who live in colder climes. Transparency (ambient) mode The bass-forward sound and effective HearThrough mode make them ideal for runners. Faders for the transparency and ANC modes give you an excellent level of control, too.
