While not much is known about their friendship, they did work on the Radiant Week project together so it is assumed they are friends as they both love animation. Although not much is known, they seem like good friends as they stand next to each other a lot. Timeline In her artwork she has straight pigtails, unlike Sunny who has wavy pigtails in her Series 1 artwork. She's passionate about filming and would retake shots until she's satisfied with it, as seen in the animated series. Later on, after the Storm sisters Naomi and Veronica told everyone they must complete their midterms a week earlier than expected, Luna apologizes and they talked. The two work together again to complete the video and are given a pass by Naomi and Veronica. At Rainbow High, students follow G.L.A.M (Grit, Love, Action and Moxie), and flaunting their true colors and making bold new innovations. At Shadow High, they are tired of lurking in the shadows, and want to shine. Of course, there is some major drama along the way! Sunny's hairstyle is likely a reference to the "Odango" hairstyle popularized by the title character of the anime Sailor Moon.
Sunny greatly admires The A's, possibly more than any other characters. She has a particular fondness for Avery and her fashion designs.In the series, Sunny has an animated series known as "Hi Hi Kawaii".
