About this deal

Otherwise there are the ‘Lite’ versions of the Q-Symphony and OTS audio technologies, so this TV will rely on some digital wizardry for audio.

Cca o tři procentní body u DCI-P3 i Rec.2020. The Neo QLED QN95A ran the OLED pretty close, but it laps this traditional QLED. The QLED Q80A falls into the common trap of being too dark, but while the two models above stumble into gloom, the Q80A falls headfirst into it.

Samsung QN85A review

Ideal if you watch a lot of high-quality content as 4K HDR stuff looks an absolute treat on the QN85A. However, upscaling content isn't this Samsung TV's strongest skill. So if you plan to watch a lot of older movies and TV shows, you're better off looking elsewhere. Unfortunately, there's also no Dolby Vision here, so you won't get the most out of a premium Netflix subscription. The QN700C doesn’t come in the same sizes, offering a 55-inch model to go with the 65- and 75-inch versions. The panel’s refresh rate is 50Hz, half that of the QN800C, and there’s not the level of performance to be found in its picture quality. There’s no HDR10+ Gaming support, contrast isn’t as effective as the QN800C and the processor is the ‘Lite’ version of Samsung’s Quantum Neural Processor 8K. Viewing angles aren’t as wide with the QN700C’s Wide Viewing Angle tech. That’s not a bad thing, though—the design of a television isn’t supposed to draw attention to itself. The 55-inch QN85A is a tidy 706 x 1227 x 27mm (hwd), with only a brief silver bezel containing that great big expanse of screen. A few years ago Samsung debuted The Wall. This is an enormous 219-inch TV made up of several modular displays that can be arranged in different configurations. There's also a variant at Costco and Sam's Club, sold as the SamsungQN85DA. Despite the different model number, it's the same TV. Size

The most widely used panels are those with 6, 8, and 10 bits for each of the RGB components of the pixel. They provide 18-, 24-, and 30-bit color, respectively. The Samsung’s IPS panel offers decently wide viewing angles (good) and a little more reflectivity than is absolutely ideal (not quite so good). Take a bit of care with positioning, though—both of the screen and your position relative to it—and picture performance is admirable.
