We teach you how to speak dog. I suggested you could speak to your vet about calming supplements to see if this could help whilst your dog was in season and becoming anxious, especially if you were stopping the training for a period of time. Not once did I suggest you drug your dog. Calming supplements can help very much with some dogs in times of stress and can be used to help dogs cope with anxious situations and fireworks etc. Once my Bark Busters residential training was over, I continued to work with Gemma and made speedy progress, nurturing her trust and confidence that I would keep her safe. We were able to start National Kennel Club Agility competitions, something I loved doing and ultimately Gemma gained the Agility Warrant Gold award; the highest award issued by the Kennel Club. No doubt that is the question you ask yourself when your dog misbehaves.
