The arch is quite low so these are comfortable but give less support, this plus a flexible forefoot should make these good to be worn in running shoes but I haven't tried this out yet. I had to trim these for them to fit into a pair of size 8.5 shoes. This is very easy and there is a cutting guide on the underneath of the insole to help you.
