Coverage – This dartboard light being an arc means it covers the top half much better than the bottom half of the board. The ease of installation also means this dartboard light is compatible with any standard bristle dartboard that has an outer numbered ring. This means it can be combined with a dartboard surround or a dartboard cabinet for a complete dartboard set up at home. Choose where you will call the bottom of the ring. (This will be the starting and finishing point for both of the LED strips when you wrap the LED strips around.) Universal – The Target Arc light has been designed to fit on any dartboard cabinet so you won’t be restricted like with some vertical/horizontal mounts.

Rechargeable – The rechargeable light is better than a battery-powered option for convenience, though not as good as mains-powered options. Not a Dartboard Light – This is a picture frame light and not a dedicated dartboard light. Therefore, it doesn’t provide the same level of illumination. A dart board needs good lighting and traditional spot lights or ambient room lighting just isn't good enough. So, after searching for what was available and what others have done in the world, I ended up with the best solution being to make my own Dart Light. Deliver Shadow-less lighting Price – For a dedicated dartboard light, this is the best value option on the market. The budget price makes it an ideal option for beginners new to darts. Turn on the router and make the cut just like you did in previous steps,　except for this cut, you do NOT cut all the way through. Only push (plunge) the router into the wood about 1/4" to 1/3" deep ( The width of your LED strip). These are to mount the Dart Light Surround to your wall. Choose what is appropriate for your installation Dry Wall screws/anchors, Wood Screws for Studs, etc. Size screw should be 2 - 2 1/2". Bigger is better!

Functionality – The arc design might not cover the board as well as a full ring light but it gives much better coverage than other alternatives and has a minimal shadow in ambient light rooms. The only downside to this product is that it’s a dartboard cabinet light rather than a dartboard light. If like me, you use a dartboard surround instead of a cabinet then this wouldn’t be a usable option so keep in mind that the mounting option for this product is not the most versatile. With the LED strip remote controls, you can make the Dart Light dance and add coolness to your party!Dartboard lights are an important component of the setup though and you have quite a few options when it comes to lighting a dartboard: For this step, you need to cut out the centers so that you have rings. 2 of the circles are easy and simply get one cut each to take out their middles. For the other 2 circles, you need to cut out the LED grooves first before making the final cut that removes the middles. Reason for this is that if you make that final cut to remove the middle before making the LED groove, there won't be any wood there to attach the router/jig to create the LED groove! Compatibility – Will fit all standard bristle dartboards and accompanies a surround or cabinet for a complete darts setup. Unfortunately, lighting is not really a glamorous thing when it comes to darts. As long as the dartboard and surround/cabinet look good, most people then don’t even consider the lighting aspect.

The latest upgraded LED technology makes the corona lighting system so brighter. It doesn’t provide any side glare and focus only on the Dartboard and surroundings. Attach the router/jig to that same center hole and make the cut all the way through which will remove the center and leave you with a ring. The alternative to the ‘Circumluminator’ was the basic single spotlight preferably 100W or a trio of spotlights of less wattage 60W to light the board. Neither however eliminated dart shadow as per the ‘Circumluminator’. Therefore you can enjoy an improved vision into your Dartboard. Firstly, the Target Corona Vision provides 360-degree visibility with the use of 123 individual mini LED bulbs. This is beneficial because it means you can play without any shadow which is a major issue with most other lightning sources. For example, this is the dartboard light used for my dad’s setup (a Christmas present that went down well). The before picture is the visibility with the room light while the second picture has the ceiling light turned off and only the Target light switched on. These alternatives tend to be DIY solutions and definitely won’t give your dartboard the best illumination possible but will help improve visibility when playing in poorly light areas. Push the router/jig around 360 degrees to ensure that it will be a good cut to give a full circle without coming too close or over any edges. Adjust where you screwed into the MDF as necessary.
