About this deal

Yes, PRIME 4 supports USB keyboards on any of the 4 available USB ports. The USB keyboard can be used as an alternative to the onscreen keyboard for a more tactile searching experience. You can also use the keyboard shortcut “ctrl + f” to immediately place the cursor in the search field and begin searching. Users can now sync tempo with external hardware using Ableton Link over both wired and wireless networks. Once Ableton Link has been enabled, an orange link icon will be shown in the top right of the toolbar providing the number of linked devices, sync lead tempo, and phase meter showing the current beat position. When synced, the tempo will match the tempo of the longest playing device. The lead tempo can be adjusted from any device and all other linked devices will automatically follow.

Pioneer DJ has just announced the XDJ-XZ, a new flagship standalone controller, which many are seeing as its response to the Denon DJ Prime 4. Many DJs already invested in the Rekordbox ecosystem held off on purchasing the Prime 4 in hopes that Pioneer DJ would follow suit and release a four-channel standalone unit of its own. Mixing songs with matching keys and manually switching a song’s key has become an artistic focus in the DJing world. However, the Gear4music extended warranty scheme provides an enhanced service, and is designed to offer a higher level of protection than many 'free' warranties offered by some retailers and manufacturers. Yes, channels 3 and 4 have switchable line/phono inputs that can be used to send your timecode signal through toSerato DJ Pro. Deliveries will be made subject to the terms and conditions of the courier company. djkit.com will not be held responsible for late deliveries. The two banks of dedicated effects can be assigned to each channel one at a time, this does stop us layering effects from the two banks but you can use the sweep effects on the mixer to add some more flair if you wish. Each bank controls 14 individual effects, which have been lifted straight from the X18000 mixer. A simple press of a button will match the song’s key to the master. Utilizing Prime’s musical key features will ramp up and refine your mixing style. XLR Zone Output Credit: Denon DJ Speaking of effects, both the Prime 4 and DDJ-1000SRT have onboard effects just like most club mixers. What’s great about both controllers is that they can also be used with external sources hooked up to the controllers (eg the aforementioned turntables or media players). With either of these controllers, most DJs won’t have the want or need for a separate four-channel mixer anymore. All-in-one capability

Building on the success of previous Prime models, the Prime 4 Plus Standalone DJ System is the perfect choice for any professional DJ. This all-in-one DJ Controller includes everything you need to take your mixing to the next level. Improve your workflow and add flare to your transitions with the intuitive layout and ergonomic controls. Finding exciting combinations of the Sweep & Post-Fader FX occupies hours of fun-filled DJing time! Key Shift & Match Credit: Denon DJ The biggest difference between the Prime 4 and the DDJ-1000SRT is the need for a computer. The Prime 4 is a standalone all-in-one system that does not need a computer to access your music files, while the DDJ-1000SRT is a DJ controller that requires a computer to function. Although the Prime 4 does not need a computer to play your digital files it does come at an increased cost compared to the DDJ-1000SRT, plus you still need to prepare your music using a laptop and Denon DJ’s Engine Prime software. Jogwheel displays The utility viewing mode gives a DJ loads of settings to adjust, like changing quantize note length, to tweak and tune their mixing style. Dual Microphone Control Credit: Denon DJ Dedicated beat jump controls taken from the SC5000 range of players are a much-welcomed feature. The Auto Loop knob does it’s job fine but it’s a little small and we prefer the dedicated buttons found on the Pioneer range of players. It’s not a deal-breaker but the buttons run no risk of adjusting the loop length as you push them in to activate, unlike this knob.Outputs are handled by balanced XLR for the Booth Out and Zone Out (more on zone outputs later). We have an unbalanced RCA and Balanced XLR output for the master with a Mono/Stereo switch. Headphone ports of both sizes are found on the front of the unit and you can control the volume, mix and even enable split cue from the mixer. Before installing your drive, please make sure that your drive is formatted according to our requirements above. You can control the level and 2 band EQ of the zone direct from the unit. If playing an internal playlist isn’t for you you can also send channel 4’s external source to the Zone. We can also see this feature being useful in smaller venues, the zone could output to the seating area, bar area or even the toilets and hallways. It’s a brand new concept and something we would love to see on more hardware in the future! The Zone output is handled by balanced XLR outputs. The mixers four channels all have a full three-band EQ that unlike competitors units can completely be customised on the screen. From the EQ/Isolation settings to the frequencies and even the shape of the filters. You can completely mould the Prime 4 to meet your exact sound needs should you wish! Within the settings, on the screen, you can also adjust the headphone mix and level settings.

Yes. When the Talk Over button is pressed, the level of the master mix will reduce automatically when it receives a signal from the microphone. You can even set the amount of volume reduction in the Utility menu.Note the white icon around the lowest USB port, this is the dedicated port for charging your phone! The Screen

I am absolutely made up with the prime 4 and can not wait get it out on the road. No more laptops to setup and run. Just the prime 4
