Airing since 1997 (first with John Nettles as DCI Tom Barnaby, then with Neil Dudgeon as DCI John Barnaby), the series is based on Caroline Graham's Chief Inspector Barnaby novels. According to IMDb, here are the names and synopsis of four of the six episodes of Midsomer Murders Season 23. Beyond that, there's been no indication that Annette Badland (Fleur Perkins) is going anywhere anytime soon – but also no confirmation that she's currently filming.
