About this deal

The new NZXT H7 comes with a new side vent for the front panel to aid in providing the up to three fans with more airflow. Some builders have grown so accustomed to installing individual leads that they’ve not yet realized that Asrock, Asus, Gigabyte, and MSI have all been using this same nine-pin button/LED configuration for over a decade, even when additional pins are located to the right of the standard portion.

Since the H7 Flow doesn’t rely on a mesh front panel that doubles as a dust filter, there are filters behind the front and top panel, as well as the PSU intake.

The base model is H7, then we have the Mesh version H7 Flow, and at the top of the tree is the H7 Elite.

However, it does have an added vent on the rear side panel to allow air to enter, with two 120mm fans included as standard. After tidying the cables, I snapped the front and rear side panels back into place without any issues, so the tool-less side panel installation worked well. inch drives, eight cable ties, two additional SSD trays, and a full manual that states that there are actually 18 cable ties. x interface, and a power button surrounded by an LED power-indicator ring rest at the top panel’s front edge. When letting each case run with their maximum out of the box fan RPMs, the H7 and H7 Elite deliver identical thermal results, proving that the Elite’s additional fan do nothing to lower overall system temperatures. Obviously, the H7 Flow has a perforated front panel, allowing the case’s front fan (or fans) to intake air directly from the front. However, after running our thermal tests, I have to credit NZXT for not taking the easy way out by using a fine mesh front panel. inch trays, NZXT’s box full of hardware includes at least four 6-32 power-supply screws, an extra standoff with a hex-to-Phillips adapter socket, 12 fan screws, 24 M3 SSD screws, 17 small-head 6-32 screws for motherboard standoffs and 3. The Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic range is popular for good reason, thanks to its stylish design and solid thermal performance.

An additional 30mm/50mm of horizontal offset between the standoffs and the 140mm/120mm fan mounts assists those who want to use extra-thick radiators. Some PC builds are easier than others, and much of it comes down to the specific PC case you choose. While NZXT has been dipping its toes into the pools of peripherals and motherboards recently, it’s better known for its cases and its ATX line-up has just received a refresh with a trio of new models. There is a ton of information in these charts and the obvious takeaway is that the Flow front panel works best when combined with the 140mm fans running at high speeds. Here we have an ATX mid-tower with a bit of Extended ATX (EATX) capability, and no obstructions evident in our test build. The range caters for three different markets, with the two cheaper models offering high-airflow or closed-panel designs, while the top-end model offers all-glass panels, as well as software control. and is considerably more affordable than some of the other mid-tower cases we've compared it against. To give some perspective, I was able to fit our triple-fan Gigabyte RTX 3070 Ti Gaming OC graphics card and Noctua U12S air cooler without any issues. The lack of a microphone front panel jack, and limited room for hard drives, may be an issue for some people, but not if you’re using a USB headset and SSDS.
