The brand started this image change by expanding the range of their men's fragrances in the 1960s, releasing five fragrances in 14 years - York Town 1781, Teak, Old Spice Lime, Old Spice Burley, Old Spice Musk For Men, and Eastern Spice. Judging by the fact that the fragrances were discontinued long ago and that in 1970 the company experienced the first sales drop in its history, none of these attempts was successful. In 1971, Shulton became part of American Cyanamide, and with new financial support, they launched a new fragrance in 1974, Blue Stratos.
