About this deal

Robinson was so severely injured in a childhood electrical accident that he could not go out in public without fear of causing a panic, so he went for long walks at night. Based in 1970s Brussels, Belgium and so very much in the political sphere, with EU politics being a key component of the plot, Neil Bannerman becomes our protagonist. This major snub sends No-Face on a rampage where he devours two more staff members, causing a panic in the bathhouse. Because of this ability and the fact he doesn't speak without eating someone, his gender is unclear.

This novel was first published in 1981 and it’s quite surprising (or maybe not) to see the political landscape has changed very little and The Man With No Face has stood the test of time quite brilliantly in that respect.Political conspiracies, freedom of the press, corruption and assassinations, all set in the pre-internet era, when nobody had mobile phones and information was slower to travel and easier to conceal. The other perspective is told from the dogged and respected journalist with the Edinburgh post, Neil Bannerman, a man who seemingly plays by his own rules, but as he gets results, is allowed a bit of leeway. The character first appeared in the novel The Stand as a demonic figure who wreaks havoc after a plague kills most of the population.

Robinson lived in Koppel, Pennsylvania, and spent his days at home with relatives, making doormats, wallets, and belts to sell. In fact, No-Face’s teeth have the omnivorous look of a human’s (though he could use a trip to the dentist). This could explain why Chihiro catches No-Face’s eye and why he was the only one able to detect her on the bridge. Flight: Phillip could float and fly short distances, though whether this was through intangibility or shadow manipulation is unrevealed.Around the time of the release of Gibson's 2000 film The Patriot, and again around the time of the release of his 2004 film The Passion of the Christ, an Internet rumor falsely attributed to radio commentator Paul Harvey claimed this film was based on an actual incident that happened to Gibson as a young man.

When Roland was a young boy, Flagg, under the name of Marten Broadclock, orchestrated a devious plan of treachery in service of the Crimson King. In turn, four of those leaders head to Las Vegas to confront Flagg: Stu Redman, Larry Underwood, Ralph Brentner and Glen Bateman. Little did he know a colleague plus a British minister who had a meeting together would be found dead, a matter of hours after his arrival, with the autistic daughter of his colleague distraught nearby. Two of Flagg's followers in Boulder, Harold Lauder and Nadine Cross, fail to wipe out the leadership of the Free Zone. Three members of this expedition are captured — one of which Flagg has shot in a fit of rage because he defies and mocks him.S. Barry Award for Crime Novel of the Year and the national literature award in France, the CEZAM Prix Litteraire. He holds Randolph's family, Chloe and Edmund captive causing Randolph to betray Roland to get them back. Captain America chased the Man With No Face across the rooftops of Chinatown and overpowered him in hand-to-hand combat. In The Dark Tower series, Randall appears under the guise of several figures, including the Man in Black, Walter O'Dim, Marten Broadcloak, and his actual name, Walter Padick.
