Primal Scream have unveiled a series of releases in celebration of the 30th anniversary of their iconic Screamadelica album, via Sony this September. The series includes: Screamadelica 12” Singles box set, a double-vinyl picture disc, and the Demodelica collection.

Both the box set and the picture disc editions will be released on 17th September, with Demodelica following on 15th October.The singles box set features replicas of singles from the album’s original campaign, plus a previously unreleased remix of ‘Shine Like Stars’ by Andrew Weatherall, while the Demodelica collection features early demos and work-in-progress mixes

Sony go Screamadelica mad this autumn with multiple formats and offerings around Primal Scream‘s 1991 album. The two bonus discs fall either side of the tightrope they were walking – a collection of mixes, and a document of the group’s 1992 touring set. The former, like most mix collections, isn’t meant for linear listening, but assorted nearly-there versions of "Loaded" show a great idea coming together and the 12" of "Higher Than The Sun" is a glorious re-immersion in the song’s sensory otherworld.
