About this deal
The Club Championship is a Pairs League which can only be won by members. But guests and visitors may participate in any Club Championship evening.
I suspect more than 90% of us will have been vaccinated by the time the Club re-opens. If a list of vaccinated members is kept by the Club, it should be reviewed periodically as booster (or variant) jabs are given.' <Ⓜ#7> We will increase the number of league competitions to match the changes in the platforms we play on, and have handicap leagues for all of them. More detail of the programme and the competitions is available on the menu tabs on the left. There will be an arrow-switch — more likely at the beginning, if BridgePal gets its way — so that we achieve a single winning pair, who will win a prize for their achievement.
The Day Centre has plenty of windows—although it may be necessary to err on the side of cryogenesis to begin with!' <Ⓜ#16> All Members should have had both vaccinations by July (and if not, why not?!); valid exceptions may be considered.' <Ⓜ#16> I can't see the point of bringing our own bidding boxes if the cards are being passed from table to table.' <Ⓜ#25> Since statistical data, like scores from bridge games, continues to be necessary in relation to the purpose for which it was originally collected and processed, results from events used for the NGS are not deleted by the club or the EBU, although they will no longer be attributed to a player who does not want their data to be kept.
Bidding
Clubs will suggest assorted forms of bridge such as pairs or teams as well as distinctive forms of the game within those categories such as Butler pairs or Swiss teams.
