Violet details how Ruby and Emi are working together for Radiant Week, even revealing how they do jigsaw puzzles together.Students at Rainbow High are often seen wearing heavy makeup and tight or revealing clothing. There is a storyline about a boy dating two girls at one time. While most of the girls have grown a bit closer to Amaya, Ruby is still rather distant from her, seeing her as nothing but a replacement for her friend. In particular, she tells Bella that she deeply misses her, having Jade text her about these feelings. Amaya, still trying to win everyone's approval, shows Ruby and the rest of the girls the school's special Color Change Chamber. Ruby in particular is very impressed by this, and she starts to see Amaya as her own person and as a part of the group.

Ruby and Sunny are shown happily getting autographs from The Royal Three, having to leave when they get their fittings. Ruby appears with Jade and the rest of their friends in multiple shots, being shown to be angry with Violet at the time. Appearing once again, Ruby is interviewed by Krystal alongside her friends. In the interview, Ruby talks all about her love and passion for mixed media and graphic design, gushing about how she loves making art out of and on everything. Being rather inspired by this, it gets revealed that Krystal chose Ruby to be the spokesperson for the article. While originally fearing any jealousy, everyone rejoices over Ruby's victory and accomplishment.As Violet tells her story, Ruby is mentioned to have spotted Sunny supposedly stealing the cardigan, with her and Skyler running up from behind and stopping her from leaving, accusing her of stealing it.

Continuing to work on the runway project, Ruby reminds her group that if they fall behind, they are done for. She later attends an escape room activity hosted by her advisor Ms. Morton, where she works with her friends to figure it out. After figuring out the escape room, Ruby and the rest of the girls remind Jade of how appreciated she is, and all the girls let Jade give them special makeovers.

Ruby is first seen meeting Violet along with her other roommates Jade and Bella. Once they met they took a selfie together, with Violet posting it online shortly after this. After they meet and mingle with each other, they're greeted by Ms. Wright, who gives Ruby and her friends their runway assignment. She makes a minor appearance in the atrium along with other first years, finding out about her new project.
