It took my partner and I 30-40 minutes to set up the tent and porch combo, with a little adjusting of pole placement. We were new to camping last year and bought the hi gear Zenobia 6, for me, DH and DS. We wanted something cheap in case we didn't like camping, thinking we'd buy something better this year if we did. We Were A Bit Apprehensive Setting It Up As We Are Both Disabled .But We Neednt HAve Worried The Instructions That Came With It Was So Easy To Follow ,Took Us Just Over 40 Mins To Set Up . And To Take Down About 25 Putting the porch up is relatively straight forward and took us about 30 minutes but we were taking our time. Especially here in the UK, where so many beautiful and picturesque locations throughout the country are waiting to be discovered.

Campers, or 'glampers' often prefer cotton canvas as it's durable and breathable, providing excellent protection from UV rays but also retaining heat to keep you nice and toasty in the night. However, like other reviewers, ours has a gap of approximately 15cm all around the bottom. This is of course really helpful, but there’s almost too much information available, so it’s important to know exactly what you’re looking for. There are some cheap family tents that can do the job well, but they might be less likely to stand any changing weather conditions. The Vango Icarus 500 might be an option.Once fitted the porch does fit correctly & it fits nice and snug, we used the porch in anger for the first time last week for 7 nights in Cornwall, We had all types of weather strong wind & heavy rain and sun, Large gap around the bottom is nice on a hot day, not so when raining (will likely saw off a few inches from the poles to lower the porch to the ground) Made for comfortable family camping, the Hi Gear Zenobia Eclipse 6 is a spacious 6-person tent with a central lobby and vis-a-vis bedrooms, with ample room for your gear, your furniture and yourselves.

When I phoned to report this and try to fix it, all I was told was that poles are not covered and was told just to buy replacement poles. The first time putting it up was slightly trial and error - maybe clearer instructions are needed (about 1 1/2 hours to put up, maybe 45 mins next time) It's a nice size but as a 6 berth it might be 2 adults and 4 children. The downside to buying online is that you can’t actually get hold of the product to try it out first. Adds a fair amount of extra room & can comfortably hold our kitchen unit and the table & chairs and leave room between to get in / out the main tent easily
