Essential info
If you don`t want to jump on costs let’s take a look at how oil radiators work. The oil inside the radiator is heated up by an electric. The oil retains the heat and releases it slowly into the surrounding air which means that even when the radiator is turned off it will continue to emit heat for some time as this is the biggest advantage of oil radiator. This makes oil-filled radiators an efficient way to heat a room especially if you use a timer to turn them off when you don’t need them.
A halogen heater uses halogen-filled tubes to produce a focused heat and a bright light making them good for small, dark rooms. This very cost effective, focused type heat warms people and objects but not the air around it.In terms of design, it’s fairly basic. It doesn’t have a handle to move it around, and there’s a rotary control to adjust each of the three heat settings. There’s no timer either, but if you’re looking for an oil-filled radiator to boost the heat in your home office, or stop a child’s bedroom growing too cold overnight, it’s great value for money.
