About this deal

There are RCA stereo line outs tied to a master volume control with LED VU meter plus a headphone out. You get built-in speakers, which Korg claims “deliver SPL levels that are even greater than the built-in speakers on previous units”, although, like those, these don’t really do the unit that much justice and really, what you should do is connect it up to your own external monitors.

If you're using USB power or if you have an audio interface connected to your system, you might need to use a USB audio isolator. There are many on the market. If using USB power, make sure that the USB audio isolator can provide enough power for your devices. The pictures below show typical USB audio isolators. Pros: 8 channels (2 of them stereo), mutes, panning, 2 aux sends, separate phones and main outs, power for 4 Volcas, same size as Volca. In this guide, we will show you how to get up and running with the Korg Volca Mix. With instructions covering everything from syncing to mixing, you’ll learn how to use it to its full potential in no time! Follow the sections below to get started. All Volcas include a MIDI in port to allow you to control it with another synth, drum machine, sequencer or MIDI controller. This really is the perfect solution and eventually when I do get a mixer to bring in my future gear, this will remain the hub of my Korg universe. Ignore the naysayers, if you love your Volcas this is a no brainer and it feels worth every penny.Personally, we’d have loved the inclusion of a MIDI thru hub, allowing several Volcas to be chained from a single MIDI or USB input. This would have driven the price up, but many would be happy to pay more for a slightly more pro-spec’d version which does more to integrate the Volcas into a wider setup.

Please be aware that this service may be modified or terminated at any time by the Company without specific notice. The current rating on a power adapter describes the amount that it can provide if gear demands it. Think of current as being “pulled’ from the power adapter by the Volca. The power adapter does not “push” current to the Volca. For this reason it’s ok to use a power adapter with a high current rating. When using a daisy chain cable you should look for a power adapter with a high current rating to ensure that it has enough power for several Volcas. Daisy Chain Cable for Korg Volcas For customers in outlying areas of the country, the price of the Extended Warranty may be marginally higher, due to the potential for higher collection and redelivery transport costs.Speakers are also built-in for excellent portability. The stereo speakers are placed at both sides of the front, and while compact, deliver SPL levels that are even greater than the built-in speakers on previous volca units. Powerful effects and control Please note that this extended warranty is currently only available on products sold within the UK, EU or EEA, and is subject to the terms and conditions as detailed on the extended warranty certificate provided. Ground loop hum can sound like a faint train horn, a buzz, or slowly alternating random tones. It can occur any time multiple pieces of electronic music gear are connected by electrically conductive cables. All types of conductive cables can contribute to ground loop hum, including power, audio, MIDI, sync and USB. The cables do not generate noise. But they provide a pathway for different ground (or neutral) voltages to interact, resulting in audible noise being generated within one or more pieces of gear. USB cables tend to be among the worst offenders. Daisy chain power cables can also allow ground loop hum to occur.
