Its sort of an unwritten ideal to not stamp past 300 presses with a stamper, so if they stretch to 500 ..and beyond, then the quality will deplete....and the further you go, the faster it depletes.

I really don't have ANY OTHER AC/DC album but this one! What could possibly TOP it?! I wore out my original copy for 35 years or so, & then I SOLD it for much more than I originally PAID for it, EVEN AFTER having enjoyed it for FREE basically for all those years. "A SOUND investment" I would say.well, it seems it's not a bad pressing in general but there are some copys that do have flaws. My LP sounds not totally bad but a bit lifeless and muffled sometimes and on "Given The Dog A Bone" it seems there's a Gremlin sitting in my Amp and messing with my Midrange. I have some sort of wave throughout the song. up, down, up, down, etc. Record plays well after ultrasonic cleaning, despite a few faint marks here and there. Sleeve has had a hard life with various dog ears and wrinkles, some ring and rubbing wear. Complete with insert. Maxicut 1st pressing. SP" found at the end of the etched matrix number in the runout and the label matrix &"E A S T" embossed around the center hole denote a Specialty Records Corporation pressing. The original release is the only one to have. I am not familiar with a remastering that comes close to the Ludwig 1980 version. Anyone telling you different has not heard the original.
