Not all Audiobook Tonies have fictional stories to tell. The Tonies in the How and Why range teach your kids all about different subjects. My six-year-old is always glued to his H ow and Why Dinosaur which tells him everything there is to know about dinosaurs and prehistoric animals. It’s a great and fun way for children to learn about different subjects! Music Tonies I love that it offers kids screen free fun, as well as being a great addition to long car journeys thanks to the 7 hour battery life. The included mains charger (pictured above) will mean there’s no need to buy disposable ones too. Winner! Thanks to an NFC chip at the bottom of every Tonie, the box instantly knows which figure is placed on top. To neatly conclude this Toniebox review, I would say that this clever and durable audiobox is worth the investment. As a story-telling, music playing and educational device, the Toniebox can have a variety of uses throughout childhood. From simple lullabies at night to educational stories about space and time, the Toniebox certainly earns its price tag when it comes to versatility. 7. What is the Battery Life of a Toniebox?
Perhaps the battery has run down completely. Please put the Toniebox on the charging station for at least 30 minutes and then try again to switch it on.With screens everywhere these days, many parents are looking for alternatives. Concerns about unsuitable content, adverts and the effect of screen time on children’s developing brains have made way for new and innovative devices that allow kids to listen to age-appropriate music, audiobooks and educational content without screens or access to the internet. My children think it’s pure magic when the Gruffalo story starts playing as soon as they place the Gruffalo-Tonie on top of their Toniebox! It certainly feels a bit like magic!
On average, Disney Tonies only last a measly 22 minutes, whereas a recent sleepy Tonie I bought – Lullaby Melodies with Sleepy Sheep– lasts a whopping 140 minutes. The following step by step tutorial contains 4 steps which will take about 20 minutes. You will need your Toniebox plus Charger and two devices: One smartphone to set up a mobile hotspot and one additional smartphone, tablet or computer to start the setup process. This is a really nice touch and means that when my husband is away, I can play his guitar lullaby to Olive. Alternatively, if I’m travelling, I can record a bedtime story on the Creative Tonie for Olive to listen to. Tonieboxes are designed for children aged three years and up, although I'd say that they can be used by younger children, too. My children have used them from around the age of a year and a half, when they particularly enjoyed the musical Tonies and songs. Obviously, the older they get, the more engaged they will be with all the stories available. What Is The Point Of A Toniebox?The Toniebox is the ultimate in portable, easy-to-use audio player.
