About this deal

Raise your flag! Bandai has finally given the iconic ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos the proper Master Grade treatment! This excellent model kit builds into Barbatos’s fourth form, which is the closest to its original appearance from the Calamity War. Any of the weapons can be wielded by the hands, though it depends on which fingers you're installing. The inner frame, cylinders, and armor are linked by a moveable axis in the upper body to improve posing ability. Barbatos' knees also move in conjunction with their cylinders, expanding range of motion and offering a natural look when standing. Left to right movement of the waist has been articulated to allow for distinct down-facing posing, too.

Real Grade Gundam (RG) is a line of Gundam Kits that was first introduced in 2010 as part of Bandai 30th Anniversary Commemoration Project. … The Real Grade line are designed to be realistic in terms of detail and colour. It also used the Advanced MS Joint for its body’s inner frames.Master Grade (MG) is a line of Gunpla kits based on Mobile Suit Gundam anime series. It was first produced by Bandai in 1995 as part of the Gundam 15th Anniversary project. Master Grade gundams are 1/100 scale kits designed and made to higher standards than High Grade (HG) kits but fall under Perfect Grade (PG) kits. If the cannons require the 5 forearm parts then that's also three plus an extra two for unarmored 5 and 6. Barbatos' original form, it is reproduced by technicians at Teiwaz's base, Saisei, based on ancient materials from the time of the Calamity War that had been recorded in their database. [1] The machine's weight balance is stabilized, and the two reactors' output and operation rate are also improved after extensive maintenance and overhaul. [1] [5] While Barbatos' performance is now closer to the original state, it is still not yet at 100%. [5] [15] The product in the image is a prototype still in its developmental stage. The product is also painted. The actual product may appear differently from the image. In the latest installment of a new Bit here, we’re reviewing Bandai’s gunpla, a model kit of a robot from the Gundam universe. It’s a little outside our usual coverage, and there might be some light spoilers for the anime. This week: Bandai’s High Grade Barbatos Lupus In the show

From "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans," arrives the fourth form of the main Gundam, Barbatos, as an MG! A brand new model kit series from Good Smile Company: MODEROID. The product is a partially pre-painted model kit. The runners are separated by color as well as pre-painted parts allowing the model to look amazing simply by being put together! They are made from PS and hard ABS plastic and feature a very detailed design that can also easily be painted for an even more detailed look. Model kits that are ideal for both figure and plastic model fans to enjoy! Pistons in different areas of the model (e.g. shoulder, torso, elbows, knees, and ankles) move accordingly with their corresponding parts.

And then there’s the frame. Somewhat unique among HG lines, and owing to the skeletal nature of the designs all the HG IBO kits have basically a full inner frame, which you normally only see on MGs and RGs. Lest you get too excited, it’s not actually a very good inner frame. It looks phenomenal, no doubt, and the articulation is good when it works. It’s just not very solid, particularly in the waist, and has been known to loosen over time. It’s less of a technical advancement in the state of GunPla art, and more a factor of necessity: it’s simply not possible to make IBO kits that don’t have a full frame, and so we get one, but the quality simply isn’t at the level of the lines where you usually see that. To reproduce one form of Barbatos, one of this product and one unassembled "MG 1/100 Gundam Barbatos" (sold separately) are required.

Exercise caution while posing the c-jointed frame of the front foot piece, as it can break if handled with excessive force. Gundam Plastic models, Gundam Plamo, or Gunpla (ガンプラ, Ganpura)[1] are model kits depicting the mecha machinery and characters of the fictional Gundam multiverse by Bandai. These kits became popular among mecha anime fans and model enthusiasts in Japan and nearby Asian countries beginning in the 1980s. Gundam modeling spread in the 1990s with North America and Europe being exposed to Gundam through television and manga. The name Gunpla derives from the phrase “Gundam plastic model”, since most kits are made of plastic. By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow. A modified version of the 5th Form for ground combat, [13] it was created with the help of Eco Turbine and again used parts provided by the Montag Company. The leg suspension was adjusted to adapt to the Earth's gravity and new feet were used. As a result of this, the suit now has a higher center of gravity, leading to faster reaction and thus better mobility under gravity. [13] The added waist thrusters were removed as they were deemed useless for ground combat, and the forearm mortars can be exchanged with autocannons.Slight variations in the item's final appearance and color may occur. Some items are hand-colored, so the colors may be uneven. Used only by the 3rd Form, it is a shooting claw weapon mounted on the left forearm that is used for restraining enemy mobile suits as well as for clinging to enemy vessels. [12] It was taken from Gaelio's Schwalbe Graze and replaces the lost Gauntlet. This product is an expansion set for "MG 1/100 Gundam Barbatos" (sold separately), It is a set of weapon/parts to reproduce one of the six forms (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 5th ground battle specification, 6th) . The MG Gundam Barbatos Expansion Parts Set can be used to remodel Barbatos into 1st to 3rd, and 5th to 6th forms.
