The DC30 was launched some time ago, and we now have cord free machines with up to 40 minutes run time. Wipe the mesh around the cyclone with a clean dry cloth or brush and tap the top of the machine where the filter attaches firmly with your hand till dust stops coming out. At some point later, I returned to see that, as per instructions, the Dyson was no longer charging - because it was fully charged (charge light showed clear). UK postage is free.
