The Victrix Guard's creation not only suits Guilliman's desire to have his sons' ranks made up of dedicated specialists, but also represents his firm belief that the shield is as important as the sword. Sicarius' vessel was lost in the Warp, though the precious cargo of Primaris Astartes still managed to reach Ultramar.As such, Guilliman gathered a select force of Battle-Brothers from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Companies of the Ultramarines to accompany him to Terra, and gave the honour of their command to Cato Sicarius. He further requested that Grand Master Aldrik Voldus and the Grey Knights of the 3rd Brotherhood join their Crusade. Hailing from Talassar, He, Cato Sicarius, would join Ultramarines as an aspirant and go onto become a sergeant and eventually Knight Champion of Macragge. He, Cato Sicarius, would assume the rank of Captain of the Second Company after the Tyranids effectively ate his predecessors. Due to the death of First Captain Saul Invictus and the complete destruction of the his First Company at the Battle for Macragge, the Second Company's Captain, Severus Agemman, was promoted to rebuild and lead the First Company. Subsequently, Sicarius was promoted in Agemman's place as the new Second Company Captain, while Caito Galenus succeeded Sicarius as the new Fifth Company Captain. [2a] Notable Actions For all the academia that was poured into his young mind, however, it was always the thought of battle, the thrill of competition and a yearning for victory that drove him onwards.
