The next step up from the Ultion 1-Star Lock, the Ultion 3-Star lock offers the same protection as the 1-star cylinder but also can withstand an attack like the PAS 24-cylinder test without the need for protective hardware (for example handles). To maintain the smooth operation a well installed Ultion lock just needs lubricating every 6 months.
